I've not found the grind so bad overall, the timegating for the faction rallies is a bit ridiculous though, if the rallies were 2 weeks long each it'd be ok.
As for catalysts i've found the Sunshot one to be a bit much, been using it a ton and getting kills using the explosions is taking an age..

The lost sector on Titan, under the Hive PE in The Rig. Lots of thrall and acolytes. Pretty quick also. Just dont go in with renow.

Nessus, Hollows, by the public event, every 10 mins Enemy is moving against each other, stand on hill opposite spawn door & shoot stuff. 40 mins tops, you're welcome 😎

I somehow did this wrong. The Vex were taking their time coming out of the cave. I was only able to chain like 2 or three kills and had to fire again. 😭

I think you need nearly 2000 kills with that damn thing. Sheesh

While I was running it for the catalyst, it seemed to be about 10 sunburst kills to equal 1%. Was a chore but for me not an issue. I’ve mained Sunshot since the beta.

Yeah sounds about right, i've been using it whenever a strike has solar burn/challenge along with during some planetary content. Think i'm on about 40% done with the objective, surely this is a bit much just to upgrade a weapon slightly?

Just set your systems time back one hour and start an Escalation Protocol. There will be nobody in your instance. Just herd the first wave of thrall together, kill one to blow up the rest, rinse and repeat. Took me about an hour from 0%

I never actually thought about that to be honest, i've just been finding groups of enemies and trying to blow them up while playing normally.. But thanks i'll try that tonight!
