New campaign, new locations, new activities, new loot items. Progression to the new level cap and power limit. You’ll still get the QoL changes in update 2.0, weapon slot changes, and the seasonal events and gear associated with them (Iron Banner, Faction Rally, etc...)

Based on the graphic, I’m guessing that the new gear, missions, strikes, crucible maps, and Raid will require the DLC. Gambit is the only feature that is questionable. Edit: One thing to consider is the effect of re-enabling power level advantages for IB and Trials if they are still available to non DLC owners since power levels are currently limited by DLC.

Lay off the Doritos and Mountain Dew for one week. Problem solved.

10 RepliesYou keep everything you have now. You get free content patches here and there and the community events. Anything in Forsaken you need to pay for specifically.
-
Everything except activities you can access on the planet. No strike Playlists, new raid, reef, gambit Playlist. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up blocking off half the crucible modes, as well.

Im probably not going to buy it day one, but come on bro, you can't come up with $40 in 6 weeks? I've made $40 on eBay in 6 hours selling junk I found cleaning up the house.
I have no money for the forsaken dlc.
If my 13 year old nephew can save up and do odd jobs after school to get a PS4 and all the D1 expansions, I'm sure you can scrounge up $40 in 6 weeks.....

You have 2 months to save $40. Save $1 a day, you'll be fine.

6 RepliesEdited by name: 7/20/2018 7:52:46 AMhard to tell because bungie isn't very transparent about those paywall lockouts beforehand, I guess we will find out when it launches , but its pretty certain there will be tactics how to strong-arm you into buying the dlc

4 RepliesI can't say for sure, but it's usually Trials and Iron Banner that have a history of leaving players behind. Potentially Faction Rallies and Prestige Raid/Raid Lairs.

You will get the free quality of life updates but that’s it.

anything that requires the new dlc maps. So NF and flashpoints when on dlc maps are going to be the biggest things you are going to notice. and of course any of the new content. You would basically keep playing as you are now just without a flashpoint/nf when a new map rolls around.
-
If you can play it now you will probably be able to play it when forsaken arrives, unless the strike is a new dlc one then I doubt it.

From what I understand the new supers will be locked for those without dlc, new raid and social space and gambit game mode plus probably the new crucible game breakout I think it was called
