Well I mean, people get matchmade against others who are not as good as them. I've had games where I go off and go unbroken with 25+ kills. I've also had games where I felt like dying by the end because my team got crushed beyond recognition. Sometimes is has to do with latency or connection and sometimes it doesn't, but there are those who do DDoS. But that's restricted to Trials as far as I've personally experienced.

 • Even when my team get crushed, i can hold myself and have kad/s around 2. But i can clearly see the difference between getting crushed because of latency and getting crushed, because the other team is better. With my pvp experience i can feel that after a couple of kills/ deaths. You just feel that something is wrong, when your bullets don't do normal damage or when you are already damaged by an enemy, before you even see him appear on your screen.

 • I've seen multiple posts describing another unclear mechanic that Bungie has seemed to implement in the game: Crucible comeback buffs/nerfs. The short version is basically that if your team was losing, but makes up a certain amount of ground, your supers/grenades/etc... all see a slightly noticeable buff in duration. The opposite applies to the opposing team. The example I saw was someone shooting a nightstalker super in the back of the map and during a friendly and enemy comeback to test for an extension/decrease due to the mechanic. I haven't tested it myself, but if it's true that may be what you're experiencing.

 • Yesterday something happened in PvP. Bungie has changed something in a very good way. For the first time in 4 years i could make normal kills. Also my hardcore pvp friends experienced the same. From the last 25 matches, my average k/d was 2.32. Of course there were also things happening as you mentioned above, but i can live with that.

 • No idea what you're referring to but I'm glad to hear you're at least not hating the game you're playing.
