Online Credit Limit Reached.
I assume this means I cant earn anymore credits for a certain amount of time?
Does anyone know how long.
Yes I am aware its because ive been playing a LOT of Gruntpocalypse today. I was playing MM with some friends earlier but they all went offline so I just decided to go for Captain (evidently this means I earned too much too fast).
Im not really bothered at the cap, Id just like to know how long I have to wait.
15 minutes?
A few days?
A week?

For all of those wondering, the daily credit limit as of 18/10/2011 is 120,000 cR. I know this because when I began playing today, I worked my rank up to ~440k. I am now at ~560k and also completed the weekly

well i think people that get A LOT of Cr should look over there games and see what there doing or how there getting so much Cr so people who DONT cheat can still get Cr because its not fair for people who spend time earning those cant keep getting those Cr and bungie has bin down its keep going off and on and i try to log on to see whats new but a lot of times it keeps saying its under maintenance and i wanted to know why bungie is keep going off and on like this it was never like this before

Challenges have nothing to do with getting credits after reaching the limit

ok first of all bungie/343 probably wrote a program that detects every time you get credits on a daily bases, if you get too many credits and the program detects it and prevents you from getting anymore until the daily challenges are reset. one solution you could do is go to local and maybe you can get credits that way (which could be worth while doing if you very, very close to ranking up) just my best guest but it's obvious. hope it helps

You can start earning credits again when your xbox console starts a new day. Whenever your clock on your xbox hit 12AM, you can earn more credits.

There is a credit limit, I hit it all the time. To get to Inheritor it is 20mil accumulated credits, btw 150k credits a day everyday would get you to Inheritor on the 134th day, which would have been Wednesday January 26th.

How can I get a mill or two credits to gut the other stuff if it shuts me down when I am not a cheat, hack, exploiter? All I did was play a few missions from today's challenge and it looks as if I cannot earn anything more, I have no rank "/" logged in, and i cannot play any more multiplayer. I never had this issue before. I always sign in and still is says I have over earned off-line. The Bungie servers acting up all morning. P

There is no credit limit per day. If there were why didnt current reclaimers complain of a daily cap? They would have had to earn at least 150k cr a day to make it half way to reclaimer or inheritor this soon after the games release. It only says limit reached because the servers are down right now

well i know thats just alot of playing but i know if you cant get any cr just wait cause ive also havent getting cr from halo but i play halo reach just in living deadand i know thats something wrong with halo reach servers and i know that cause it deranked everbody that i played with for living dead servers. if you want what everybody wants and iknow you do want that to happen to get cr but what i want is toget my rank for halo reach. so message me back at berone96 or gabe1coley@yahoo.com

i dont like how theres a limit on how much you can get. i think its dumb but in away good for people to not cheat. I just dont think i got that many credits in so little time today and i am trying to find out how long will i be unable to get more cr. any one know?

Hit the credit cap around 9pm today. I accumulated around 100k including jackpots and challenges. The amount of credits you get per game is rank based. Im a noble, shouldnt the credit cap go up as your rank does? Higher ranked people obviously play more and get more credits per game than lower lvl people. I play alot of slayer based gametypes and normally go in with a group of 3-4. Im not boosting, cheating, or taking advantage of the system in any way. Why are people that play the game the right way get punished for the people the screwed up in the first place? A high school coach mentality, punish all to punish the few, does not work in any which way or form. Players get mad at the coach, Bungie, not the other players.
