Bungie, I dunno what's happening. After the first introduction of Renown there was a ton of complaints. Third Faction rallies started today with the same system, untouched. The system designed to REWARD you with a DEBUFF. A debuff that works even outside of the areas where it offers a compensation for the increased challenge. A debuff that ruins the fun of every free world activity (unless you're a masochist, of course). What the hell is happening, Bungie? Do you think this system is good? Do you not have enough programmers to change Renown to work only in Lost sectors? Do you still believe your debuff makes building up your Renown stacks difficult? Or do you just give zero blams? There are many positive changes to the game in this season. However, much more important changes - those that affect the "game as a hobby" - are disappoining and annoying. Rewarding players with a debuff? Heroic strikes harder than prestige nightfalls? Time-gated power levelling (which didn't work anyway)? What the hell are you thinking? And now you want me to preorder your next DLC? Hell, no. I'm okay with dropping a game because I completed everything and got bored - I feel positive about the game anyway and I will gladly come back if something interesting happens (like new DLC). I'm NOT okay with dropping a game because I burned out WORKING in it because you were desperate to make your "game as a service" or whatever, for god's sake.
