Do you think anyone should be able to outrun a striker titan in their super? I only ask because I’ve seen arguments about this.

I can tell you one thing, I am absolutely worthless when it comes to playing striker, the FoH feels sluggish for how close range it’s attacks are, I respect anyone who can get multikills with it cause I can’t haha, I mostly play sentinel, even though it’s hit detection is trash there is always a way to close the gap with block and the jump swing combo

They already have max sprint speed and you still want them to run even faster?
-
Nobody will be outrunning strikers when we get thundercrash hehehe

3 RepliesNope.. striker and arcstrider, as well as stormcaller, all move at the same speed once in super. They were buffed to match when the "go fast" patch was added. Arcstrider has an advantage with the speed because of the dodge. Striker could use a little something else to help close the gap between enemies.. Stormcaller has ionic blink in one of their skill trees..

1 ReplyAnd definitely increase the speed of putting up a barricade. It's slow as hell!
-
1 ReplyTitans deserve nothing but a lump of coal.
-
Maybe in mayhem they can put the speed so high you can barely see your surroundings.
-
1 ReplyIt should honestly just be one huge slam like it was in d1

Remember the trailer when zavala uses his fist the immediately used it again and we were all like wtf?

Edited by ElectroHail: 7/19/2018 6:04:35 PMYes to the speed buff.

I see warlocks flying up to avoid arcstriders, yet arcstriders aren't getting much help in the flight category.

Edited by Zelrons: 7/19/2018 6:03:15 PMBeing able to just outrun a super that only works in close range makes it useless. It's fine how it is. Can be outrun if used from too far away, but deadly quick when used properly.
If you really want to invest in your sprint speed you actually can outrun them.
1 Reply-blam!- off strikers... Sentinel4life... 😂 With the new Block in Forsaken we will encourage aggressive sweat pushes...
-
They can be like the flash, but since it's advertised now. Run run run.
-
8 RepliesThey already run at max sprint speed and go faster by skating. Literally only a Warlock spamming Blink/skating and a Titan skating can escape. Hunters, on the other hand, gotta work harder to get away.

I know strikers and sentinels run at the same speed in super. For sentinels at least we can block damage so we don't insta die. I feel like strikers have to use their supers like they did in D1. Surprise people then hope they can get another kill after the initial activation. I don't think anyone will outrun the new striker super though haha

19 RepliesEdited by Nectum: 7/18/2018 6:32:37 PMJust look at Arcstrider, hard to run away from them with their fast moves and dodges.. See a striker comming for you? Easy, jump back and shoot.. Good chances are he's dead before reaching you.. We need more speed, overshield and faster attacks to be on par with what Arcstrider can do.

Depends on the load out the enemy is using. If I’m using burst glide, a lightweight weapon, and tranversive steps I should be able to outrun almost anything. If it’s a dawnblade don’t chase. They’ll outrun ANYTHING.
