Nightfall Strange Terrain Braytech Osprey Not Dropping
I have ran Strange Terrain Nightfall Normal 3 times and Prestige 59 times so far this week with high score of 134,894. I have ran with several friends that have got the Braytech Osprey to drop numerous times after just a 10 to 20 runs. Is my RNG this bad or is something blocking it from dropping. I have noticed that destiny item manager isn't showing all of my emblem variants from past Nightfalls, but that is a separate issue. I have the variants in game, but they do not show up on destiny item manage or destiny sets. Any help would be appreciated.

Currently losing my shit over the drop rate for this weapon. I have taken 15 different randoms in and they all get the damn Osprey. Meanwhile Ive grinded an ENTIRE week for 4-5 hours a night and nothing. I took a friend in last night and I was telling him how many times Ive done this nightfall for this. We finish and he gets it first try. WTF> the most broken RNG loot system ever. I have been landing consistent 200k+ scores every time with 11-12min runs.

I have all but this one and all have come in under 30 runs and same for everybody I know. I'm pushing 90 with this one and I've only seen 1 person get it and same goes for others I've talked to. Hell I got a strike catalist, coldheart b4 i got the launcher running them lol

19 RepliesScore has nothing to do with whether it drops or if it doesn't drop. And there have been people who have run it 200+ times with no drops as of yet. RNG is RNG>

3 RepliesIv heard that you should do a high score run on the prestige first, then do speed runs after.. For some reason getting the high score, helps with the drops... That is what I have heard anyhow. I have yet to try it.

No help to be had. RNG is RNG. You could get it your next run or not get it after 4,000 runs.

If you were hoping to get any decent rewards from grinding the nightfall you're playing the wrong game. Only solution I can propose for you if REALLY want that Osprey is that you gotta pray to RNGesus and hope he's feeling generous.
