Stormcaller sucks
Lets be honest, storm caller is the weakest super right now. You can hate on warlocks all you want, but storm is super weak in comparison to everything else, it has no super armor, it takes took long to kill, and if you have risk runner, storm can’t kill you, please, buff stormcaller damage, make it better

1 ReplyIn PVP I'd rather use an empty sword than stormcaller. We're almost a year into D2 and I'm still trying to find something that was an improvement from D1. Maybe character customization? Oh wait... 😫

12 RepliesWhahahahahahahahahahahah. I'm a Hunter and it's impossible to outrun the Stormcaller with 20 meters range super. I melt like i'm nothing. Also the Stormcaller is difficult to kill with a primary. First, because it's super range and second because of lagging/ teleporting, when coming towards you.

Back in D1 when you heard palpatine hands pop you went the other way, D2 you hear it pop and you stand your ground and melt them 2 seconds after they pop it. It seriously needs a buff.

Storm really does suck. I mainly play hunter but I agree that Stormcaller is weak. Plain and simple. Needs a buff to its super.

I've never played Stormcaller so I can't comment on the damage, but damnit are they difficult to outrun. They hit through walls seemingly as well.

Slow nova bomb need a buff too. It’s need to be tune up a little bit faster

Storm caller is very weak. It takes all of the super to almost kill a yellow bar. Same yellow bar gets destroyed by arc strider in 2 swipes. Hammers and arcstrider feel like they last forever. Stormcaller has duration but is to weak to actually clear unless you in raid with bond that ups your damage 20%.

My nieces and nephews play Disney Infinite, and have infinite lives and never get frustrated from losing. Perhaps that game is more your speed? ;)

Yeah, I used to like my Warlock, but stormcaller sucks. I literally just gun them down if I see one coming. Usually don’t even run anymore. Needs some armor or something.

6 RepliesYes, bungie made warlocks underwhelming; they nerfed healing rift after the beta, they nerfed sunbreakers (or ‘sunbracers’) to not provide an additional solar grenade charge (consider that pulse grenades are more powerful & titans are allowed to have double grenades on all subclasses (strikers don’t even need an exotic for that), they nerfed ‘touch of flame’ so solar warlocks no longer have an overshield after a melee, they nerfed self-rez by taking it out, they nerfed the range and damage of warlock melee while still retaining the slowest animation of all classes, & the empowering rift has always been useless. Of course, as you mentioned, stormtrance is the least likely come out on top when dealing with any other arc super (or any super for that matter). Basically warlocks are shit and bungie needs to get off their asses and revamp the whole class. This is coming from a warlock main who now prefers to use a hunter in PvP so as not to be in a disadvantage.

Yes! Trolling panic nova bombers with ionic blink is the best. And killing them quicker would be much better.

All 3 suck. I wish I could select Lance for Nova Bomb. And totally wish all the super animations were sped up, and not slow anymore. DPS would be awesome if we gotten a damage buff for our supers.

It is the weakest pve super. but you dont use stormcaller for its super. Bottom tree stormcaller with lunaboots is op af. In pvp, you use bottom tree with the stag. Top tree is amazing based around chaining grenades. with graviton lance and the warlock storyline exotic helmet. Ionic blink shits over everything

5 RepliesSentinel Shield is the weakest Super. Mostly due to exceedingly bad hit detection but still. Stormtrance needs brought to it's levels of TTK launch. You could sparkle fingers an entire map and pretty much wipe it twice over. Every Super should be as powerful as they were when TTK launched really...

2 RepliesI dislike all of the warlock supers. I have been trying dawnblade lately but i am not a fan. Probably going to switch back to nova. I used to love stormcaller but they are just too easy to kill and i feel like the perk that usually kills enemies on activating the super doesn't seem to be working as well as it once did. Sneak around a corner and activate with enemies all around and i only get one of them. I feel like it used to be more powerful. I haven't used stormcaller in a couple weeks. I hope they make some changes, it was my favorite super in D1

5 RepliesClearing red-bars? Awesome. Yellow bars? LOL. Its actually quite jarring tbh. After you obliterate hordes of enemies you kind of expect it to do more vs yellow bar foes. Still, teammates can focus fire elites whilst you sweep up everything else in the blink of an eye. [spoiler]All supers bar explosive hammers and maybe Cataclysm Nova could do with moar power in PvE[/spoiler]
