I really wish this butt-hugger meta was over
I'm so tired of this handholding-while-cycling-around-the-map crucible. It's so boring and unappealing.
Well aware that it's a pipe dream and that something else is gonna take it's place. Because that's how people work. Some abritary insignificant quantification of videogame-skill is more important than keeping the game interesting. I'm rambling, whatever.
I wish the butt-hugger meta was over.

For anyone who doesn’t get it, what OP is saying is that the ttk on this game is so slow that the most optimal way to get kills is by team shooting which is why everyone is on each others butt. What OP is asking for is faster ttk

7 RepliesI think one of the other issues is these maps are just too small and make with the Call of Duty Black Ops mentality of "lanes" fighting. Its a map style that heavily favors team fighting over solo plays.

The only way this will happen, is to lower TTK. Period. Otherwise, teamshotting will always be a thing.

Butt-hugger meta? You mean it requires a name so that you have an object to blame for not adapting? It is a fireteam after all. The folks playing figured out how to win. There is always a way to win. When it differs from how we want to play, we make it wrong. Adapt or lose, or just stop playing. Life is made of choices.

Honestly as much as i hate the gravi-vig meta. Im okay with it. I dont use it, but im comfortable using braytech scout, polaris lance, amd crimson to counter it. What annoys me is the frequency of the heavy spawn.

Well it’s a team based game so that makes the most sense to do. Ask them for solo modes if you don’t want team shooting
