Warmind didn’t really show off her light in any way, and when you beat one of the Public Events she says “reminds me of my gunslinger days”
Is she still a guardian or has she lost her light?
-
Yes you see her ghost many times but she is let's say "retired" like effredeet she has other things to do then being a guardian
-
Reminds me of my gunslinger days.......I cringe every time I hear that most poorly written line ever.
-
3 RepliesAna is too young to be a guardian she is only 12 years old.
-
9 RepliesIf she has a Ghost, yeah she’s a Guardian. She’s just rogue.
-
No she lost her status when she declared gay
-
She likes p*ss*y I think.
-
She’s a Guardian, she just doesn’t work for the Vanguard anymore. That’s what she means. Now she’s more of a soloist doing Rasputin stuff on Mars or whatever the -blam!- was going on in Warmind.
-
More like Gay-dian, amirite!?
Thank you, 2018, for making jokes like these a part of legitimately accepted statements of diversity acceptance.
4 RepliesNo she exists to give me gear when I give her tokens. She is just a vending machine.
-
She's a deserter
-
3 RepliesShe still wields the Light, but does not actively seek to protect the City by killing enemies of the City. Technically, that may mean she isn’t a Guardian, though I believe she serves to protect the City by acting as a liaison to Rasputin.
-
There's no reason to believe that she's not a Guardian. We didn't see Cayde, Zavala, or Ikora use their abilities until D2, but we always knew they were Guardians.
-
She has her light but she falls into the same area of guardians as Shin Maphur or Osiris. They don’t seems to serve the city but they do still fight for the light or some other goal.
-
I think the line is in reference to her past (fitting given her interests). It’s like when an older person reminisces back to their youth and what they got up to.
-
Hmm, hard to tell. We know that she likes girls though.
-
1 ReplyShe’s got light. And by that line, she means her time in the tower as a Vanguard Guardian.
-
Depends on if you use the term Guardian as a replacement for "Risen", or specifically one who protects the city. If the former, then yes. If the latter, she's simply a Risen, much like Osiris, or the Sunbreakers.
-
She is a guardian, her ghost it still in tact
-
.... obviously?
-
I believe she still has her Ghost. She's just off doing her own thing.
-
Shes actually cayde 7 in a dress.

1 ReplyI’m gonna say no. By the sounds of things, she hasn’t been an active Guardian since Twilight Gap, which happened long before Warmind takes place. For all intents in purposes, she seems to have left that life behind. Then again, I could be wrong. I haven’t read the 3rd Warmind comic yet so I’m not 100% sure what’s she’s been up to after her apparent demise at Twilight Gap. I’m also sure that she probably had to work out some kind of deal with Zavala in order to remain on Mars and become the Vanguard’s official liaison with Rasputin.
-
She exists solely to decrypt those warmind schematics.
-
She still has her ghost....so she is a gaurdian.
-
1 ReplyShe still has her Ghost if I remember correctly. It seems she lives primarily outside the City, as to not be recognised, so maybe she became a Nightstalker Hunter. Nightstalkers are cannonically the "Wilds" Hunters, while Gunslingers are the "Frontier" Hunters and Arcstriders are "Warrior Monk" Hunters. I'd make sense that Ana would start using the more applicable subclass when she faked her death and left the City.

1 ReplyThey never do explain her robot eye. Chaulk that up to more bad writing.
