You want a million changes to happen to destiny. Guess what? That costs money. You don't have to get the annual pass. You don't even have to get forsaken. If you hate it so much than leave. The "I have a job/ school/casual" community is the reason D2 is the way it is. It's your fault. I go to school and work full time, and I never complained about people having guns and armor I didn't have. I didn't put the time to get it, therefore I didn't deserve it. Let bungie make their game. Quit crying please.

Edited by LoxusVT: 7/14/2018 11:36:44 AMNo one has a problem with a 40$ dlc if its worth it right i think the real problem comes in when you take into account all the other dlc and mistakes along with the current industry climate. I payed for ttk and i grinded the hell out of D1 for my dead orbit exotic cloak and all the exotic swords. I have no problem with paying for a meaningful dlc but idk if forsaken is that. Time and time again with d2 has a dlc come out only to be worthless or meh at best. As a consumer and as a vet yes forsaken looks cool but whats to say it isnt another CoO? also the fact that other games who have more of a solid following right now who arent hurting as much arent charging for dlc. Games like the devision 2 and Bf5 are giving out free dlc and i can garantee it will help their plauer numbers and their brand. Destiny 2 is selling us a 40$ dlc with a microtransaction store attached, i can tell you these 2 practices in comparison to the free dlc that other games are giving away doesnt loom good. It looks bad when everyone around D2 is consumer friendly and trying to grow their player bases and d2 isnt. It hurts your community growth and hurts your brand which in the long run hurts your sales if you intend to put out another game. I love this game and i want to see it succeed but bungie is staking the cards against themselves and i cant help but think thats a bad idea.

Let bungie make their game.
Bungie has done that for nearly 4 years. Bungie got a pass with D1 because it was a new game with all the 'growing pains' that entails. Then they release D2. Given EVERYTHING they learned from D1 they decided to "do it their way". So be it, they lost millions of players. Those players are not going to pay again just so Bungie can fix their game.
You don't have to get the annual pass. You don't even have to get forsaken.
You do if you intend to continue playing in this game type. People have been burned by Bungie too many times. IF a large number of players do decide to return it will be after Forsaken is out and they know for sure what it contains. The Bungie 'hype train' no longer works like it use to.
Let bungie make their game. Quit crying please.
But Warframe is totally free, the devs listen and personally reply to all of our posts and make all the changes we ask for, and there's space battles now! Bungie just wants money and....."What mom? I'm trying to get the truth out to all of my followers! No! I said cut the crusts OFF of my sandwiches! And knock before you come down into your, I mean into my basement."

4 RepliesHonestly, after three years of feedback from destiny 1, destiny 2 shouldn’t be what it is... in a state of shambles. This game shouldn’t require “millions of changes”. If Bungie did it right, people wouldn’t be asking for changes.

5 RepliesPpl would not be pissed that it costs $70 if Bungie did not fail so miserably in year 4. Warmind is good in my opinion but has issues with more than a few catalysts not dropping and some of our ornaments are disappearing from inventory, problems with Eververse working properly, problems with modifiers not working accurately, things like prestige nightfalls being easier than normal and the recommended light levels being incorrect on those and heroic strikes. An endgame event that is literally impossible to beat without cheating the system. Ornaments not working on raid gear for over 6 months without any explanation. Curse of Osiris was by far THE ABSOLUTE WORST DLC in Destiny to date. Most armor looks like ass in Destiny 2 and from what they showed in Forsaken, its just getting uglier. Im talking mostly about the titans. I could go on Basically most players have lost all faith in Bungie being able to deliver a quality gaming experience with support of an update team that addresses issues in a timely manner. Yet, Bungie is going to charge even more for their game that has consistently gotten worse? Don't fault ppl for being wary when Bungie has given them a hundred reasons to feel that way. Its not the cost, they are worried about- its what they are getting for the cost- and they can make all of the promises they want that it will be everything we have asked for, only an idiot would trust that at this point.

30 RepliesHERE IS A DEAL FOR YOU! WHEN I ACTUALLY GET CONTENT WORTH THE INITIAL 70$ I PAID FOR THE LAUNCH D2 AND SEASON PASS. THEN I'LL STOP CALLING BUNGIE OUT FOR BEING HORSESHIT FOR ASKING MORE MONEY FOR CONTENT WE HAVE ALLREADY PAID FOR!
-
Buy the dlc -blam!- that annual pass if you buy the pass you obviously didn't learn from the first season pass. We ppl that bought the digital deluxe edition of destiny 2 learned that the hard way the game right now don't even feel close to a deluxe game.😐😞

Played D1 to death got fcuked over with D2 and it's expansions, once bitten not again..
-
People complain about this every time a new dlc drops
-
1 ReplyThose people will always find something to complain about. Just ignore them and don't let them ruin your fun......
-
Why does this bother you?
-
They are not going to.. the forum cry babies have to cry, its just what they do. Let them cry and just enjoy what you can and want to enjoy. Nothing is going to appease the forum babies.
-
I don't care that the DLC is 40 bucks. I only care that my PlayStation says that it's $50!?!?
-
I don’t see any trump supporter guardians crying. Hmmm

Edited by GrundleBeans: 7/12/2018 10:06:40 PMWell that's ironic, because I haven't seen anybody crying about the price on the forums for a week or two now. But now that you brought it up, they're going to cry some more about it all over again. You even made it worse by bumping your own topic to force it in people's faces.

2 RepliesEdited by olly5656: 7/12/2018 9:24:13 PMstop shilling and stop bumping your 0 rated thread if people want to complain they can complain
-
Guess what? We already payed for the changes. Please stop your whining
-
HaHaHa!!! You're thinking logically!??! On these forums!??!!!? HAHAHAHAHA!!! 🤣 Ah yes it would be great if people used these forums to talk about the game and post constructive criticism. But then how would immature troll-boys get their daily ego boost. They only feel good when they are tearing something down. You can't possibly expect them to go out and actually accomplish something in reality do you? ...c'mon you're smarter than that. Someone please think of the troll-boys!!

No complaints from me about the price if a product doesn't suck like d2. I've been pre-ordering by bungie stuff since Halo 3, mostly special/legendary editions... Often 2 copies (so my son could coop) $100 on d2 to get a downgraded version of destiny has me not pre ordering forsaken and I may not get it later unless it fixes a huge amount of issues. With Red Dead 2 coming out this fall there likely won't be much time for d2 anyway.
-
People will whine and cry for just about anything.
-
1 ReplyEdited by DadKev: 7/12/2018 4:45:53 PMI would agree. Whining and complaining isn't nearly as effective as not buying and not playing. Continuing to buy and play and then whine and complain accomplishes nothing but to say you're whining and complaining isn't really that important.
-
Sadly no. But that's not really Bungie's fault. we exist in a time period where the gamer feels entitled. Not only to any content that's given out but they also believe their opinion wants to be heard. Doesn't help that we also happen to have existed during the time some companies have made major -blam!- ups for the sake of money.
-
3 RepliesYou would have a point if it didn't take four years to get a dismantle option at the postmaster...
-
It’s probably squeekers that 😭
