Hey Bungie,
after the first ban on PC which lasts a few days (when Destiny 2 came out) i had a good time with playing D2 until yesterday when i got banned the second time. Almost 440h of D2 and a average cruicible, PVE and raid carreer later i would like you to do me a favour to unban my account.
I do not know why my account was banned but to be fair, you once banned my account unjustly and now please be so kind and retrieve your error from the past and revise & reactivate my account :)
Best,
Gizmomok
P.S.: Before some guys try to tell me about TOC or TOS, i read them and no one really likes smartypants telling someone about them or that bans are permanent. I even don´t care about posts saying some kind of other software affected D2.

I have not (yet) been banned, but the story was as follows: My friend and I often played D2 on the PS and we had the same provider (Rostelecom), because of him we often lagged the server Bungie, there were constant friezes during the game and flights. I, as a person who worked for 10 years in IT security, began to look for solutions to this problem on my own (since Bungie to all my complaints was on dick!). Using my router, I configured the routing through NAT so that requests to Bungie servers were bypassing the DNS servers of Rostelecom and blocked all third-party packets coming to me from unknown hosts. As a result, the game earned as a player; the flights, lags and friezes disappeared. Because my friend did not have the opportunity to do the same job, I gave him access to his network through VPN so that he could use the connection to the Internet through my router ... Here we opened the Pandora's box !!! For even when we were not playing in a band, we always ended up on the same server in the game, we often intersected in the "Crucible" in enemy teams. And when we collected the times for "Trials of the Nine" and were in different teams by hosts, we were 100% likely to get into one game, it's kind of like "abuse" called ;-). As a result, my friend was banned, and I just scored on this -blam! - game, without it I have nothing to do there. And it's not my fault (when I tried to set up a stable connection with the game) and not my friend, but a -blam!- p2p-connection that allows you to monitor activity in the game and Bungie knows about it, but does not try to do anything about it. It's much easier to translate the server load to the machines of the players than to develop your own infrastructure of servers for a comfortable game! And why engage in dialogue with the community, on technical issues? when you can feel the ban-hammer and hiring different suckers, so that they scream together in one voice at the forum, they say GREAT and BEAUTIFUL, in all respects, Bungie does not discuss questions about account blocking! https://www.bungie.net/ru/Forums/Post/245850970?sort=0&page=0

11 RepliesSo... you are aware of the policy, aware of the terms, aware of bungie not discussing bans/restrictions, yet make a post wanting no "smarty pants" to reply? What are you expecting, knowing that Bungie does not discuss such information?

Was there anything on your computer that would be classified as something that would try to inject code into D2? Also, did you get a email or message from Bungie explaining why you were banned in the first place and the reason you were unbanned?

I do not know why my account was banned but to be fair, you once banned my account unjustly and now please be so kind and retrieve your error from the past and revise & reactivate my account :)
When the PC group joined us in the D2 fun, the first couple dozen posts like this were pretty amusing, now they're just pathetic. "What's that officer? All this blood on my hands and the knife I'm holding and the bloody, stabbed body on the floor next to me? I have no idea what happened; honest! Now please clean my hands for me and put me back into society."

1 ReplyIt's not really trying to be a smartypants to simply tell you the policy as it is. What happened in the past and what happened now are two different events and sets of circumstances, so trying to use any past adjustments as evidence or reasons as to why this one should be overturned is a bit moot. You've read the policy, so no need for me to say anything about it. Good luck to you.
