Their damage as power weapons will make them obnoxious as special weapons as well as the absurd projcetile speed seems almost they're hitscan.

1 ReplyDidn't they say fusion, grenade, n rockets are staying in power???
-
1 ReplyYou mean all the butt hurt people that Destroyed Destiny 1 will be shouting louder than ever.
-
1 ReplyYou know I was wondering after a nice solid week of using my sleeper during mayhem and murdering quite a few (especially in their supers) if I would see any “nerf fusions” post in the aftermath....I have not been disappointed. I contributed to this outcry guys, my bad...

10 RepliesEdited by BCFre: 7/12/2018 2:38:10 PMYou do realize that it’s not primary/special/heavy right? It’s not reverting to D1 mechanics. If you have a fusion in your first slot, and a shotgun in your second slot, they will share power ammo. Ammo drop rates are not gonna change, which means if you have a fusion in any slot, you’re still only gonna get ammo for it from purple bricks. In crucible, you’re not gonna spawn with fusion ammo ever, and you’ll still only get fusiom ammo from power spawns, regardless of what slot it is equipped in

1 ReplyOh jeez... here comes the old "nerf fusions" garbage... Go ruin a different game will you? This one is broken enough because nerf herders like you.
-
7 RepliesOh geez, you are in here nerfherding future weapons? Dude, go play with nerf legos or something.
-
10 RepliesYou still need Power ammo. So thus it will stay pretty much the same.
-
1 ReplyYep. And this was the problem with destiny 1's weapon system.
-
12 RepliesBuff TTK and it will solve 99% of the balancing issues in pvp. I feel like I've been beating my head against a wall and it hasn't happened after a year.
-
1 Replyyou've got to be talking about PVP. cause have you used a fusion in PVE recently? (Sleeper Simulant is the only exception. it actually destroys everything). they are absolute trash. they don't do enough damage to even warrant equipping them. there literally is zero reason to use one, unless you are trying to give yourself a handicap to make the game seem challenging.
-
Well I can see you're not seriously going by the meme, as I see it shotguns maybe left unchecked if "so nerf fusion rifles" becomes reality.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Reshsafari: 7/12/2018 3:57:12 PMI have games where I do fusion all game long. But it takes a lot of practice. A LOT. I know because I’ve loved fusions in d1 crucible. I’m mighty good at it. Not killing in one shot will result in your death. It’s very high risk. You are wrong. Edit: shotguns are good competition. It is hard to fight a fusioner with a non high rof weapon
-
Make Fusions Shit Again
-
Nerf fusion rif... Oh wait, you are serious.
-
Just stop. And wait till you've played before you judge it.
-
15 RepliesI really don't think these bozos understand what you're talking about. If they don't change anything related to the weapon other than being able to put it in your special slot, you'll always have ammo for a power weapon. I give it a week of people in crucible always having Main Ingredient ammo before everyone who commented against you on here is crying for an actual nerf
-
I forgot this type of weapon exists - never seen people using it. I trierd but it seems it does less single target damage than snipers and less AOE damage than rockets, have charge time
-
7 RepliesWhy would you want the guns to be weaker lol
-
1 ReplyF the nerf police, always trying to ruin the game so they don't have to deal with something in the crucible. I hate these nerf post. Your the reason the game was so stale with your wack a s s feedback
-
5 RepliesOh stop. Fusion rifles are just one of the weapons that Bungie didnt' BREAK in going from Destiny 1 to Destiny 2.... ...and the team-shot meta limits their useful in PVP because of the charge up time. Getting focused down by two people will kill you before you can charge up and fire any of the OHK FRs. So a good FR user has to be skillful in his approach, and in his ability to track his target while charging up the weapon.
-
15 RepliesPeople like you ruin this game. I can already tell you got killed by a fusion rifle, and instead of blaming yourself you blamed this oh so powerful weapon. Stop it. Get some help.
-
2 RepliesWhat a moronic thread. This has to be a troll.
-
4 RepliesYa, no. They're not OP in any way, shape, or form. There is plenty of Skill Involved in using a FR.
-
7 RepliesGtfo with this bull. Fusion rifles are powerful like they should be.
-
4 RepliesI think you’re correct in your assumption if things stay exactly as they are currently. If I had to guess though there is going to be an excessive amount of salt in the forums come The Forsaken because of an entire sandbox change to guns and how they preform with slot changes and random rolls. I can see blanket damage level drops as weapons move upwards from the Power slot. Things like DARCI, EP shotgun/sniper, Raid shotgun/exotic shotgun etc are likely all going to have damage limitations imposed. The forums will be trading table salt for sea salt as the adjustments to provide these changes are implemented.

2 RepliesEdited by TotalDramaGamer: 7/11/2018 8:46:59 PMSo... you're saying... nErF FuSiOn rIfLeS???????? Lol, no. They're fine. They can outrange shotguns and barely touch AR range with any amount of consistancy (it's possible, but that's more luck than control). It's in a good spot. You're going to need them against all the primary shotguns running around. -- And unlike the other people who always complain about shotguns... I welcome the change. By far the EASIEST fusion rifle fodder in the game, shotgun rushers. Seriously, even in D1 a good fusion rifle could always come on top with even the slightest awareness (not to mention how godly Plan C could be). -- Additionally...
absurd projcetile speed
So... every other special/primary/heavy in the game besides rockets and grenade launchers... yeah... sooooo different. How will we ever get used to it? Lol
