Bad team mates in control and supremacy
i just played a game of control on the radiant hills CoO map, was even near the start if the match then things went downhill
While enemies were defending B site my team sat at a long range, Picking off on enemies when we had only 1 flag...Capture it maybe?
And in supremacy what do you not understand by ‘Pick up the crests’. it’s honestly unbelievable, The main Majority of players are honest to god good team mates
But the minority of you are just so shite
you guys have any tales of bad team mates?

5 RepliesLiterally if you play solo in crucible, Bungie just gives you bots or something for teammates. I have never seen such mindless teammates in my life. Meanwhile we are playing a 4 stack of the sweatiest players in the game. I’ve literally seen teammates stand there and watch me have a gun fight not helping whatsoever. And then there’s the every amazing teammates that steal heavy and then charge right into the enemy feeding them a kill and giving them free heavy. It’s like playing 1v4 every game, it’s actually ridiculous.

I feel sorry for anyone on my team in supremacy. Shit man, those crests, no matter how hard I try, I cannot pick them up. I either walk through them or when I kill someone, the crest just flies away from me. I end up with 24 creates and like 6 secures. I just feel awful as a person lol.

19 RepliesThe Crucible is full of shite teammates. You can generally tell how things are going to go within the first two or three minutes of the match. I understand people do not like the game modes forced upon them so I'm fine with people not picking up crests or capping zones. I struggle with the following: 1. Teammates with ZERO common sense. They run into the same room OVER AND OVER only to get melted AGAIN AND AGAIN. They of course don't wait for a teammate, they continue to go in SOLO over and over. 2. Teammates who are TOTAL pussies and will not push with you. I can't tell you how many times I push and my teammates just STAND THERE and watch me die then come around the corner for the clean up kill. 3. Teammates who scatter all over the map. I'm amazed when two or three of us spawn and they don't even have the sense to group up. 4. Teammates who can only get kills with heavy so they spend half the match camping on heavy and the other half hiding in fear they will lose the heavy. 5. AFK TRASH -- Pussies who are too afraid to even try and go afk for the milestone. Bungie really needs to change the way we earn milestones. You shouldn't get credit for being an AFK PUSSY. Make milestones bounty based. If a person can't complete the milestone bounty then they shouldn't get the reward. They also need to make it hard, not something people can finish in 15 minutes to get the engram. For example, in the last iron banner I completed my 100 sniper kills for the armor ornament. It was challenging and not something I would have normally done. We need more of this. Have a nice day!!!!

I typically leave supremacy. If they made rift more like that game mode in Halo 4 that was kinda like basketball/American football I'd be down for it (...you can totally shoot/free throw relics from the Warmind strikes...just saying) Supremacy just feels frustrating.

Oh yes I have tales. Some games I play I have to push upwards of 30 kills with a 4-5.0 KA/D to win while my team mates have mostly below 2.0... keep in mind they're getting the caps in control cause I'm busy staying off point trying to protect them so while I have 0 caps, I have ensured most of the caps we had.

Most of my tales of bad teammates come from other FPS games, some of them being to the point to where the potatoes in Destiny look like seasoned players.

1 ReplyGotta say while I understand where you are coming from, it sounds like you're taking QP far too seriously. I'm not a bad player, but in QP I'm normally testing loadouts, weapons, and combos of the 2. If they're entertaining B, why not cap the zone yourself? Also, I will leave crests if I've just got a kill and have kill clip, maybe I saw an enemy out of cover....? Too many people are quick to judge teammates decision making, yes, sometimes what they do is stupid or doesn't work, but there's always an intention there, and depending on skill is the difference between it being successful or not. QP is for learning new things, not going in hXc every game.

As a rule I play 15 Cruciple matches a week just long enough to get my milestone done! It gets worse week! Though now have only 2 characters to max so that’s 10 a week!

In these moments I always think; are they just trying to do something specific? Catalyst, sniper kills etc etc... no choice with game mode, so you just have do it, in whatever mode you're in! I had the jade rabbit catalyst and all I would get were supremacy matches... I'd still run in after and try to pick up the crest mind you!

75% of my solo games are with bad teammates that can't play an objective. Tnt I'm at the point with supremacy I'll just leave cause I hate that gamemode.

I used to fret teammates picking up crests, but man, those little -blam!-ers have a dinky-assed Fallen-head sized hitbox. If you don't get it on the kill, trying to get it often just gets you killed. :/ And it's quickplay. Shoot the bad Guardians, collect your valor, and move on.

Not everyone is good at computer games, like everything else in life, there’s always someone better. You coming here complaining about less skilled players just makes you look like a dick and a salty loser. Of all them bad players I doubt many of them are deliberately trying to play crap or lose. Getting nothing for losing is better than getting shit rewards for winning, that’s how shit d2 pvp is. Plus it’s just a game. Calm down chief, the world is still revolving, life goes on regardless [spoiler]pvp sucks major donkey balls[/spoiler]

1 Replywait.... you mean Clash, right? i always wondered why sometimes the letters A,B, and C show up in my Clash games. haha. i'm kidding... but really i'm probably one of those you're talking about. i hate pvp. i don't want to play it. but there is the milestone connected to it (call to arms) that awards high level gear. when you're trying to level up, you pretty much do anything possible. so i have to run it on 3 characters for the rewards. once i've completed the Call to Arms, i don't touch PvP. and it doesn't matter how good or bad i do.... it takes 5 or 6 games to complete the quest. i really don't care how the game goes. whatever gets it over the quickest. i do not go completely AFK, but i can guarantee you that i'm not 100% invested in the game. and i know i'm not the only one that thinks this way because there have been multiple threads just like this one. maybe if you're looking for good games, go into a sweaty mode where people actually care. Quickplay is not going to be that mode.

I play Supremacy like it's supposed to be played. I play Control however my randos decide to play it. If they're not going to bother capturing flags, then it becomes a game of Clash with a guaranteed loss. Nothing much you can do about it.

Been that way since D1. At least in D1 if my teammates were terrible I could attempt to MAYBE 2v6 it if there was at least one other decent person on my team but more often than not my teammates would feed the enemy team, they'd get supers, waste us again and again, get heavy as we respawn, waste us more and repeat. lol It's why I stopped playing Crucible.
