Arguably one of the worst sequels ever made at launch. Through time it’s improved but at a cost. Through time the game will continue to get better at a cost. This is the business model for this franchise. We witnessed it during D1 and it has repeated in D2. Pay or get out. Those are you choices.

Not entirely. People who defend D2 are people who have their identity tied up to their guardian. For some of these people, they have chosen to love Destiny regardless of its actual merits. Some of them have found friendship in the game so they defend it because it gives them a social playground that they cant find IRL. Some defend it because they dont get the luxury of buying a new game every month, so they are stuck with it and are trying to make the most of it. And some people just actually really and truly like the game. I know thats hard to believe, but some people just like shooting shit and seeing numbers fly off an enemy. Mmmmm.... feedback. I dont defend this game. Its just not that fun to me. But i can see why some people grow attatched to it, as i did with D1. We dont play games in a vaccum of space. Sometimes, there are other reasons why people grow attatched to things, and sometimes those attatchments are born out circstances. Sometimes, life be like that.

Problem is, some critics are so small minded, and think people not calling bungie scum every 2 words are bungie 'fanboys' I don't mind critics. I just hate the low IQ some show.

You know whats messed up about all this? D1 had less in content when it comes to events but it puts everything else in D2 to shame and it cost less than D2. It also kept 3+ million gamers around and Bungie treated D2 like if it was D1 y1 but is trying to trap gamers again in a "season pass" knowing what they pulled this entire year? So let me get this straight. Bungie before D2 was released made a few claims like "they have created a system that will allow them to have more updates on a regular base" versus D1. Meaning, the sandbox updates that Luck Smith said they made it "easier for them". That never happened. Bungie claimed they would address the heavy ammo issue (during the bata.) A year later and that never happened, and they even claimed they would fix it during an update later on. Oh get this, this is top notch when it comes to this company. PvE gamers have been asking this company for (an entire year people) to fix the heavy ammo issue in PvE. What does Bungie do? Oh, you guys want more heavy ammo, well here you go PvP gamers, we added more heavy to the PvP maps. Please tell me this company is not that dumb? I know I get drunk once in a while and make some dumb decisions, but Bungie or who made this call wasn't drunk. That tells me the logic we are dealing with here when it comes to the higher-ups. I expect this nonsense from Luke Smith but come on people, this isn't brain surgery. Bungie hasn't offer anywhere near what they offered in D1, yet they are charging the same price if not more and looking for ways to trap gamers again with the pre-order nonsense. Bungie can take their pre-order, well, you know, can't say what I would like to because it will hurt someone's feelings and will get reported lol. Anyways, Bungie game is a mess and will be for the entire D2. I'll just wait until they stop being so selfish and actually put some real effort into this game to get it moving forward before I'll buy anything from them. Y3 maybe?

They 100% shit the bed with D2. Now they are making us pay by making things like catalysts and EP weapons so hard to get. D2 is nothing more than a time wasting simulator. SAD Bungo.
