First how about we unerf it because people overused it with the most overpowered shotguns, making it completely unreliable as an attack maneuver.

  • Tbh its fine where it is its not meant to be a jump its a teleport and if you use it that way and manage its cooldown and learn its mechanics and can figure out its trajectory you will be borderline unkillable unless you make a HUGE mistake. Just a matter of mastery.

  • The weapon lockout to prevent blink shotgun makes the jump worthless with any other weapons. Maybe blink works against new players, but experienced guardians will take full advantage of the free opportunity you’ve just given them to shoot you while you are unable to shoot back.

  • The nerfs messed up your HUD and Handling, both make it a struggle still.

  • The hud thing is a bit of a nightmare but you shouldnt need it if you have eyes on your target. Blink is a distance closer or an escape method. Ive been using it on voidwalker since D1 and although it was waaaaaay better back then, its still very viable today as long as you put the time in to master it.

  • The hud is a no factor in competitive and if you dont really on the radar fully in qp, which you shouldnt, you should be fine. the handling is just there to prevent shot gun cheese etc, Also you have to pay at least some price for getting invincibility frames, disorenting your enemies etc.

  • By disorienting yourself? I'm not even talking 0 handling reduction, but it's too much. I can't blink towards anyone without having to stare at them for a whole awkward second(s) before I even begin to draw my weapon, especially low handling ones in general.

  • Why would you blink in front of anyone? Would you jump in front of anyone? Look man i guess its just a matter of usage
