Mida Multi Tool catalyst drop
There has been a couple posts on Reddit about this but Bungie hasn't really said anything on the subject. I would just like to ask Bungie, is the need to have 5500 glory points for mida catalyst intentional?
I'm genuinely curious because they are raising the drop rates of the strike ones to make them easier. The strike catalyst as they are right now are easy compared to the mida catalyst at the moment.
I would also like ask the community if they are ok with this? This would make it easily the hardest catalyst to get in the game. Even with the comp changes it will be difficult. I just assume it has to be a bug because i didn't think they would make any of the catalyst this hard to get especially since all others are not that bad.

10 RepliesCompetitive crucible cannot be soloed regardless of skill. You need 3 in your fireteam. Unless you get Powerball lucky , even with reduction of exp you have to win the match. You can't sit and pad your kd. You got to go .85 kd with 35 kills and 6 captures because your a BOSS and the rest of your random team will equate or average your daily or average objective like captures. It's impossible. I have amassed 80+ thousand crucible kills. You won't get the rank till you get a team or they remove rank loss. A prolonged period of crucible success to finally get the rank . They either make the grind impossible to reach for solo players, keep it as is with a requirement of daily weekly monthly fireteam, or RNG it but bungie is worst in the business for that. Bad code. They fixed alot. But. If D3 is real it leaves a lot to be desired. Coders from d1 did not move to 2, let alone 3. I don't officially know this but I can feel the difference still and play both. Sharp is sharp. Unclean is unclean .

1 ReplyI'm really hoping the required rank isn't true. The new MM system just made MIDA impossible to get for not-so-good players if it requires a certain rank. It was from a launch quest, it shouldn't be a competitive prize. They have Redrix and other things for that already. I've been thinking about giving comp a shot now that valor is part of the equation and I still need 1600 points for that second reset so I can chase 2 things at the same time. Just the MIDA wasn't enough incentive to get me in that crapfest.

13 RepliesThere is a video on YouTube showing a player get the mida catalyst. He was at the redrix claymore rank, not legend rank. That myth has been busted.

Not like the catalyst is useful at all Outlaw on a gun with a already fast reload speed.....
