Favorite explosives in games?

It’s the Fourth of July, so naturally that means it’s time for some fancy explosions. Let’s celebrate in a different way by dicussing our favorite explosives in video games! This could range from something as small as some fire crackers or a grenade to an orbital bombardment battery. Combat viability does not have to apply! For me, I think I might give the artillery strikes from Rising Storm 2 my love.

If anyones played the Earth Defense Force series, the Sky Turtle from EDF 2/Global Defence Force on PS2 was always a particular favourite of mine. A launcher that shoots a rocket slower than your natural running speed, but has amazing homing capabilities and packs perhaps the biggest punch in the game. I have fond memories of just launching 20 Sky Turtles at the beginning of the mission, then running to where the nearest insects were and watching armageddon just rain down. Edit: just got on my copy of GDF, some stats and tidbits for context. - 30m Blast Radius (60m in diameter) - 10 seconds to reload a single rocket (lol) - 4000 damage per rocket (in comparison, the best 'non-meme' rocket launcher deals 1200 damage per rocket) - Is nicknamed the 'Mighty Slow Poke' (official description in-game)
