blackout + brawler must be a brainfart or a sick joke

Honestly Bungo, not that I like anything about the new Strike modifiers in general, but this combination really takes the cake for me. [i]"Stay away from mobs, but get close to punch them!"[/i] Were you even thinking when setting this one up, or do you also use RNG internally for design decisions? At least that would explain quite a few things about this game.

  • I agree entirely. Whenever I hop on to do strikes and blackout is one of the modifiers I just switch to a different video game, or find other entertainment. I don’t think that the one hit death should be a modifier. It’s hard to feel like a champion when you can get beotch slapped by any enemy in the game and respond like you were a baby that was just brain punched by the 1990’s Mike Tyson.

    When i see those modifiers its like bungie is telling me to stop playing cause they have literally removed the fun.

  • Some modifiers are actually just notifications to avoid Heroic Strikes for 24 hours,

              • I read brainfort instead of brainfart. Which got me thinking about the “Insurmountable Skullfort.” Dang... Skullfort while using Code of the Juggernaut and a Precision Frame Hand Cannon, or any Hand Cannon really, is like... the best thing in all of Destiny 2. The Stability buff from “Frontal Assault” Perk is just so so nice. And your melee charge resets every time you get a melee kill with Knockout because of the Skullfort’s perk. Mmmm so smooth. It’s like a pint of D1 Weapon performance on tap. Melee tap

              • If we could 1 hit melee everything that could melee us it would be different, but you cant 1 hit a yellow bar sword knight, but that little thrall in the corner can take out your entire fireteam.

                    • Another one of these posts, really? It isn’t that hard. If you see something coming towards you, punch it first. Better yet, shoot it before it gets near you. We have Supers, grenades and abilities too, use them. Arcstrider with Raiden Flux is absolutely devastating with those modifiers.

                    • I mean we do have exotic gauntlets that NO ONE uses, that ACTUALLY increases melee damage. Just sayin.

                      The modifiers are random and they change daily. I honestly found it easier to stay back and use my super on tons of thrall to keep them away from my fireteam

                        Idk lads, brawler is my favorite one and fastest to complete, 1 bladedancer can destroy the last boss, for me its best choice, combo with blackout is not problem, cuz bd can do range attack. Hunters are still the best pve choice anyway, if u main hunter i think its not big deal with any of restrictions u have. Worst for me is increased health , cuz bosses not staggering and thats annoying actually.

                        I'd be more inclined to take the risk if our melee abilities were on a mayhem level cooldown and did like 300% more damage. Otherwise, it's just not worth the time.
