Reached 385 today.
Guess how many raids in D2 I’ve completed.
ZERO
Edit: I feel the need to clarify... Up until two weeks ago, I did all of the nightfalls via guided games.
Edit: Spire access for trials is still locked.
Edit: Joined my clan two weeks ago so technically I’m not a solo player anymore...
Update:
With my new clan, I did Leviathan on Wednesday and EoW last night. Although I truly enjoy playing solo, I wish I would have joined a clan that raids sooner as I feel I’ve been missing out on some great content.

1 ReplyEdited by Acalson: 7/5/2018 12:13:37 AMyou are still a solo player if you are in a clan. Solo players are just people who play alone and don't have a dedicated team. Ive been in a clan since D1 and never played with any of them. Also you are on XBL so you can use the built in LFG feature to find a group instead of waiting for guided games.

Hey...i also reached 385 earlier this week....and i play with friends.

Edited by ElementNinja: 7/7/2018 4:00:15 PMDo you have all three classes? A shame that Bunghole removed power leveling.
-
Trying to go for max power right now is pointless(especially as a solo player or casual). However, when Forsaken releases it will matter what power level you are.
-
6 RepliesIf you don't play raids and such then what is the whole point of reaching max power? You don't need to be max power to play most activities both pve and pvp. As long as you have the minimum required power then you are fine to enter them. A higher power level doesn't give you an equal higher advantage. And in crucible you can play at any power level. Only if you want to play raid or escalation protocol then high power is recommended but these activities also require friends/teammates to play with and are not meant for solo players. People really should stop thinking that reaching max power is the goal of this game.

4 RepliesHow long has it been since warmind got released? Id guess and say 7 weeks. It's taken 7 weeks for the first of the solo players to max out I'm close myself at 380 on my hunter and warlock. My point is all that guff that bungie stated pre-warmind that it would be unlikely for solo non raid players to hit max light before September was pure bull. Wish I knew that before warmind

1 ReplyI’m a solo as well... encountering powerful engrams dropping at 363 when I’m clearly at 367... frustration.
-
I'm getting there I just reached 380 on my hunter, but god if they ain't making this shit tedious.
-
Didn’t raid myself and found it easy.
-
2 RepliesI don’t do any raids. Loved them D1 but I’ve no interest D2. There’s absolutely no point increasing light level beyond 350 if you don’t raid. Take your time.
-
I have done no raids and very little nightfall and in only 378

Nice!
Max Power is too hard for people who don't need it to obtain
Edited by Unsaidfulty: 7/6/2018 9:41:00 AMlook at it like this ,at least you made this expansion last ,most people that raid nowadays just want high light as fast as possible ,without slogging pve to achieve it that's fine, but be honest not being max light hasn't really affected your ability to compete, congratulations you just proved it can be done.

Edited by crazymike: 7/6/2018 2:16:37 AMI'm 380 plus on all 3 guardians with no raids. I'm in a clan and have friends and we do prestige nightfall for the milestone with heavy and a solar singe for the extra higher level drop. If you're on PC send me a friend request and come play.

1 ReplyEdited by thatdudeEd54: 7/5/2018 5:24:47 AMIts the easiest thing in the world. Im mostly a solo player who has the courage to find fireteams through lfg to do raids. You never trully fight alone dude, just need to know knowledge End Game pve activities I dont want to hear "but they kick me out because i never done it before". There are litterally hundreds of guides on the internet that will teach you how to do the raid. There are assholes who ask for professional raiders all the time. Ignore those posts and look for people who just want to have a good time raiding. Do your research, prove yourself to the fireteam you are good enough to survive on your own, have generally knowledge on what to do, and you wont be kicked. Simple
-
Yeah, people getting bent over numbers that don't have any impact on any activities that they will be doing seems childish to me, but hey I am a solo raider so meh.
-
1 ReplyTrials Spire access is unlocked by two comp game wins.
-
3 RepliesNot too hard. Just too many roadblocks because Bungie broke the "mid-game" with what they did to the Heroic Playlist and with the throttling of progression. I ran Leviathan reset day to help a couple of friends of clanmates through their first raid. I went 372 power to 378 power over the course of that ONE raid. I got one piece of raid leg armor and FOUR raid weapons. All Masterworks. All 380+ power. Oh...and this was on Normal. Not Prestiege.
-
I would have been 385, if I cared.
-
5 RepliesHow do you hit max light with out doing raids? I do all my powerful engrams minus raid and trials. Engrams no longer help from IB or crucible. Even exotic engrams you get decrypt are not high. Then you have powerful engrams giving you nothing but tractor cannons. I have 7 slots that need to be powered up and I have not gotten something for legs in weeks. I finally started raiding yesterday and got over the hump.

4 RepliesI reached 385 on all 3 characters doing everything solo or LFG for raids or NF .. so agreed, not easy ... but more than doable ... now in a clan after reaching max ... still tend to run solo until invited by clan to run something .. old habits die hard
-
2 RepliesPreach. I'm getting sick of seeing all these entitled kids posting about how the game needs to give them rewards because they choose to play by themselves because having interactions with people is too taxing and makes them have to come out of their safe space.
-
3 RepliesEdited by HaouRyuk: 7/5/2018 2:05:38 PMIt's not hard, it's annoying because of the intentional slow down, a simple thing like removing high exotic drops not only slows you down it also removes incentive to play, once you finish the Milestones there's literally nothing that will help you until reset, if you finish those quickly you have no reason to play for the rest of the week. Then there's Solstice of Heroes which makes your (and everyone else's) goal of 385 moot as the new cap will be 400 just before Forsaken is released, and unless I read it incorrectly it's raid only, prestige EOW and SOS for weapons, Normal for armor...If I'm wrong please let me know because I'm hoping I'm wrong, but if I'm not, you're going to have to turn that "Zero" raids into at least 8 for a single character or 18 minimum..good thing you joined a clan. (I'm hoping what it is, is 400 drops for the raids, or you can still do Milestones up to 400 but it will be slower, but so far all I've seen is raid only)

I’m a solo player and I’m only 375 but I LOVE the grind
-
1 ReplyI'll probably be 385 today on at least two characters and 99% of the time, I play solo. It should take longer playing solo, it gives an incentive to play the endgame content. I wanted the Midnight Coup and the hunter cloak, played two raids and got both. Now I want Alone As a God, gonna have to raid again - or wait for Banshee to sell it again.
