110 RPM hand cannons 3-tap with a fast TTK.
Sturm can potentially 2-tap.
Big plays can be made with snipers with a little patience and being quick on the trigger.
The list of weapons that require skill to utilize goes on, but almost none of them are brought into the Crucible. Why? Because Graviton Lance and Vigilence Wing exist. These weapons are easy to use AND effective. There's no reason to use Sturm and Drang when you can sit back with your team and use those.
Vigilence Wing will more often than not kill in three bursts. Of those 15 rounds, only 5 need to be precision hits for a guaranteed kill at its optimal range. That's 30% precision accuracy. Why use a 110 RPM hand cannon that requires 100% precision accuracy for a kill (most of the time) when VW exist?
Then there's GL. It requires three bursts to the head, doing 71 damage per burst. That's the same amount as a 110 RPM hand cannon, except GL fires faster, more accurately, can be used at virtually all ranges, does not have a bloom problem, and has 100 stability.
VW and GL are too easy to use to be as effective as they are. Everything either needs to be brought up to their level, so a faster TTK across the board, or they need to be brought down. The least forgiving weapons need to have the fastest TTKs if there is to exist such a large discrepancy is a weapon's viability.

im not for nerfing but... but there is defiantly something fishy about the hit detection with GL. And when it comes to VW, the gun is just good. and as an exotic it should be. But the other guns we have, need a buff, hopefully the update we get in sept will be a buff back to the ttk of D1. but it needs to happen sooner.
