BUFF Warlocks and Titans

As it stands, Hunters are the dominant class in PvP right now. This can easily be referenced through the top 10, 20 and 30 leaderboards. You will see Arc Striders with that broken helmet and maybe 1 or 2 Titans. No Warlocks. This is not good for the game, it creates a very toxic environment and tbh trails is becoming less and less fun if you are not on a Hunter. Here are a list of things I think would help other classes at least compete in competitive gamemodes: +Give more powerful exotics to Warlocks and Titans. Bungie if you are going to keep Wormhusk the way it is, than change something for other classes. +Due to the barricade and rift having a much larger cooldown then dodge, I think an increase in animation speed might help. This also would help with the fact that both rift and barricade are active abilities unlike the dodge which is reactive. What this means is in game modes such as trails and comp, it becomes harder for these respective abilities to be used efficiently. +There has to be some kind of protection element when it comes to the deployment of these abilities. I cant tell you how many times I have been killed in the animation of putting my rift down, or being weakened during the deployment of a barricade and killed shortly after. +Make other close range supers (Im looking at you Sentinal and Stormcaller) as strong as Arcstrider. I dont know if they realised how strong and tanky they made Arc. He takes 8 damage from an energy weapon. Wtf. Not to mention he doesnt have to touch you with the super. There seems to be a 10M hit box detection 360° to allow for ease of use. Bungie, do the same for other classes. +While the Dawnblade recieved a lovely speed buff, it didnt really effect the consistency of the super. I still find my self hitting gaurdians and not recieving the kill only to find out I did 185 damage.

  • HUNTERS are no better than the titan and warlock. It depends on the player. People who are more skilled play on hunters. Titans and locks are OP AF. You just need to learn how to use them. Stop complaining. HUNTERS are OP because skilled players use them to dominate.

  • You are retarted get off forums. Warlocks and titans have all the good grenades and supers and all hunter have is a fricken dodge a ficken dodge that doesnt even dodge damage we still take damage. Omg we got a helmet that somewhat heals us but warlocks have a fricken rift that heals you even when you take damage thats not even a exotic. Stfu dude i get more people play hunters but they arent op they arent even as good as titans and warlocks in pve look at it hammer titans and nova locks dominate in pve and pvp

    • What is it with Hunters always being the dominant class in pvp? What's interesting is that the one time there was a shift in the balance of power back when Sunbreaker first wreaked havoc, it took Bungie all of two months to restore order by completely gutting the subclass.

      • I’d like to see Warlocks and Titans get class ability re-works. Or at least get drastically different class ability options. As it stands, if warlock and titan class abilities are respectively Paper and Rock...Hunters have bomb. The mobility of the hunters class move already put them one up in the crucible, whereas Warlocks and Titans have to plant themselves into a chosen spot with theirs. That plus the ability to reload their weapons, turn invisible, AND start immediate health regen with the right exotic? As a warlock main what can I do? Make a shiny little circle with a two foot diameter? Whoop de freaking do da. In the time it takes me to stand still and make myself a sitting duck, that hunter just dived around the corner, fully reloaded their gun, turned invisible, and regained all their health. Thanks. I’m not one of these ‘nerf teh hunters’ types. I want Titans and Warlocks to feel as powerful and fun to play as hunters do. And I think that starts with drastic alterations to the class abilities.

        • I hate it when my Dawnblade doesn't 1 hit. It is quite thin projectile so maybe I'm just slightly missing them. Sentinel and Stormcaller definitely need a buff. Sentinel is so fun to use, but it's just a joke when you hit a target 2-3 times yet they don't die.

        • Barricade needs to be more competitive and versatile, hunters dodging to full heath is 10x more effective. And the speed to pop that barricade always gets me dead.

          Base melee range should be extended for titans and warlocks. Base melee damage should be increased for titans. Base melee speed should be increased for warlocks. Titans need shoulder charge to 1 hit kill again. After all it is on a cool down and involves running straight at an enemy. I can count the number of shoulder charge kills I have in d2 on 1 hand maybe even one finger. Both he titan and warlock supers and jump speeds need a buff.         • Eh. Ehh. All these good general buffs yet the only good thing really going for arcstrider is wormhusk and focused breathing. You can out run a arcstaff, suppress with a suppression nade, out range it with hammers, weaken and then FoH when the hunter is close enough or out right nova bomb. My point is I'm fine with buffs but lets not make it seem as if hunters as a whole are amazing. They're overused mainly due to 1 exotic and 1 skill tree set. Meaning the rest of the options from class and exotics are quite balanced. If we're giving titans and locks general buffs, hunters deserve some too. Take away wormhusk and there isnt much there that'll make hunters stand out significantly to the other classes.

            Warlocks are dominant in pve. Hunters are dominant in pvp. Titans have dominant shoulder pads.

            • My problem with Striker specifically is that they gave it zero mobility options to dodge incoming fire aside from the shoulder charge which eats through your super even though you didn't hit anything. So pretty much you have to run directly AT your opponent thats shooting you unlike Arcstrider, but they gave it the same armor as arcstrider. Sometimes I don't understand the logic that goes behind balancing half this shit. It'd make more sense for Striker to have double the damage reduction they have now since they have to run directly at someone instead of just spamming the attack button or dodge like an Arcstrider can.

              • Ooh man the truth about that inconsistent dawnblade... It hurts my soul that warlocks are still so inconsistent. I know nobody uses scatter nades, but they still bounce even now... They were never fixed in D1 and probably won't be in D2. They are supposed to detonate on impact, not bounce. Warlocks are the most inconsistent class by far, arcstriders are super consistent in the fact they keep hitting you from ground to air without jumping (yay super lunge) and like with quickfang, they miss and still get the kill (why bungo?)

                • I got a fix for it, make warlock and titan instant cast abilities. Or hold down o or whatever button you cast your rift and shield and you can carry it with you while you run. Rift can be placed and used while moving, and titan you can move with your barricade.

                • 1. Without said exotic, arcstriders are on par with other supers. I have had a stormcaller activate their super at the same time as my arcstrider and their ACTIVATION 1 shot me. I respawned with no super and they went on to kill anything in their path. I find it hard to believe that arcstrider is significantly stronger than stormcaller or any other super. 2. The exotic needs to be looked at not the subclasses. Nerfing one or buffing the others just means that anyone not using said exotic with arcstrider will now be crippled. 3. Dodge has a shorter cooldown than the other class abilities because it is the weakest. With this in mind I am not opposed to reducing the animation time of other class abilities. Leave hunters alone and redesign how wormhusk interacts with arcstrider.

                      • Ok so there are good hunters and bad hunters. Good hunters know how to use a hunter and are just complete boss at it. Bad hunters whine and complain about their abilities, simply because they think they are sh**. Well you were the ones that decided to play as a hunter... so work around your weaknesses and turn them into strengths instead of asking for buffs and nerfs to make your game easier. Hunters, however, have the most overpowered subclass supers. They can infinitely shadowshot (Orpheus rig), they can dodge any super and then blitz you with arc strider. They also have an OHK hand cannon that can shoot 3 times! So, in all honesty, walocks and titans need more mobile super abilities. Instead of 'here let's throw this sh** at this guy and see if it kills him.' They need a 'ima slap you in the face' super. Why hunters are getting another 'ima slap you in the face super' makes me question why I am not a hunter main...
