1 ReplyEdited by Galen IYIarek: 7/2/2018 7:32:35 AMSame thing happens at the driving range. I become 4 times more focused, energized, and willing to practice when the ball retrieving cart starts driving around.

1 Reply*Two different enemies fighting each other* Hey look an assh*le on a sparrow let’s put our differences aside and wreck this fool. *Colossus slows you down with rockets Hobgoblin snipes you faster than Brakion without a head*

To stop you from running past enemies in strikes. Which is why people who run off and leave everyone else behind in strikes, piss me off. Because if you don't make it out alongside them, you can get trapped behind all the enemies they aggro'ed and then left you to deal with. Last weekend I got trapped in Tree of Probabilities when I died and the other two people ran off and left me. Leaving me to deal with that enemies right after you come out of the Infinite Forrest. Died 6 times trying to find way around them on a sparrow to make that jump. Finally had to just stop and fight through them all by myself.

And their aim assist is off the charts. Ow!

And their aim is dead on accurate even though I'm going right to left at 50mph and janking at the same time. Somehow their snipers can still hit me from 500 yards.
-
Same reason enemies accuracy drops when your health gets low.
-
They need to put mini guns or smoke/flash grenades on those things already. Make it easier to swoop by and evade. And the fun that would be in SRL.

12 RepliesI remember In D1 when we could use our sparrow to kill them. Now the sparrows suck...
-
4 RepliesKinda like those damn Scorch Captains in D1, where it shot like a Hero Formula when they had it, but once we picked it up it shot slow as hell
-
10 RepliesWhy when enemies are moving against each other do they stop attacking each other for a moment and only focus on you...and all you’re doing is trying to collect a dusk light shard?

2 RepliesEdited by Magnuz117: 7/3/2018 5:44:38 AMLike some said it's to deter you from trying to fly past enemies but also logically your a bigger target and more noticable. I will say that the other day in the arms dealer strike we hit the public area entrance to the ship and I hopped on my sparrow and prepared for the desperate sprint through hell hoping I wouldn't die, then out of no where the vanguard dropped a tank like from the campaign. I hopped in, mowed down everything at the ship entrance, took it inside and killed both tanks then took it about halfway into the hallway before I got stuck and had to leave it. One of the players i was matchmade with msgd me after asking where I got it. I dunno if this is an update to the strike un reosonse to everyone skipping that section or a random fluke but either way it made that strike a hell of a lot more fun for a brief period.

Because they gain a buff after you ride your sparrow. Also, the environment also gains a damage buff if you ride a sparrow too. Hitting the environment hard would deal huge damage to your sparrow
jk
9 RepliesWhat's more annoying is that the Sparrow instantly explodes right between your legs; talk about no warning. At least in D1 it ran off before blowing up, and it could take a punch.
-
Edited by zJDz: 7/4/2018 1:57:30 AMD1 sparrows were tanks with horns and abilities like trick flips or overboost. D2 sparrows are made from paper and pillows. So no one gets hurt or offended. D2 sparrows explode when a dreg glances in your direction.
-
AT weapons. They pull out the big guns. If only they throught to do the same when we were actually in tanks.
-
Meme ((Because Aliens!!))
-
Better question is, why are we riding around on very squishy bombs? You'd think Holliday and the rest of the Tower engineers could come up with something to remedy that?
-
1 ReplyI heard your sparrow is going to need fuel that can only be bought with silver.
-
"Sterile neutrinous quitupled." "He means watch out for the taken" And boy, did you not.

1 ReplyEdited by ClovenTrack620: 7/3/2018 4:43:26 AMnot just rate of fire but Suddenly everyone on the field becomes a high level Trained Sniper and for some reason Sparrows blow up so much more in D2, back in D1 you could drive it off a cliff and survive, in D2 a Vandal shoots you in the leg and your sparrow catches on fire
-
It's Bungle logic. Never question Bungle logic.
-
I always noticed this but thought nothing of it. Then yesterday was getting a patrol beacon in front of some ads and they were shooting me yeah but nothing too serious. Then I hop on my sparrow and their rate of fire just increases tremendously and instantly kill me. Definitely something Bungie did on purpose to keep people from skipping areas on strikes, etc.
-
To stop skipping
