Being Dead when a Patrol is Completed Loses All Renown
If you're dead while a patrol mission is completed during Faction Rally week, and should respawn with some renown, you instead respawn back at zero renown.
Xbox One, repeatable.

That was my first attempt at triggering the behaviour manually. Note 4 renown before, and zero after. You can see 4 renown displayed for a moment on respawn, but then they all disappear.
Easily repeatable with any patrol... Just be dead when the "Mission Complete" screen appears.

Just happened to me a minute ago. On Xbox with full faction set. However, I was in a lost sector with 4 renown and cancelled my active patrol. Completed the lost sector and got no faction tokens. I still got health drops and it showed 4 stacks right before I opened the chest. Wish I woulda recorded it instead of going straight to the internet to figure out what's up. It seems like a bug when you have a patrol active while in a lost sector.

Let's see I have full faction gear on. I had 5 renown, went into a lost sector while a friend picked up a kill patrol, so he could get to 5. I died in the lost sector, then the kill patrol was finished and instead of having 5, I had 2.

Hello, and thank you for your report. We are aware of this issue, as players should not lose all renown when dying during a Mission Complete screen. If you know of any more information or other video reports of this occurring please let us know.

1 ReplySo that explains why one of my friends lost all his renown on ps4. I believe this is an all console problem.

3 RepliesHello! I’m not sure if this is a reported bug. If you or anyone else who have experienced this can provide a video that shows renown (more than 1) before and then after that would be awesome!

I had this problem on pc last faction rally. I hope Bungie gets this fixed or at least know about this bug.

It's making me really frigging upset when I get all the way to the end of a lost sector, lose one renown from dying, which already sucks, and then respawning with NO RENOWN WHATSOEVER. Please, I beg you to fix this issue, bungie devs Edit: PS4 player here
