In "THIS WEEK AT BUNGIE – 6/28/2018" it says "Removing Supremacy from the pool of available game modes" under the updates for crucible.
Anyone know why? Speaking for myself, I hate control and I don't look forward to possibly having more of it with less supremacy (I already have to deal with it in quickplay and only control in iron banner).

Clash and Survival are okay too, even though survival is not played enough. But there is a mode that does irritate me during competitive player versus player and that is Countdown. Countdown also requires team shooting trying to improve in our glory ranks. This mode can be a pain trying to raise our glory rank levels up. Everyone really wants the Claymore pulse rifle. Supremacy to me is fun, but when you think about it? Every game mode in Destiny 1 and 2 requires team shooting? Supremacy and Countdown are just more intense. Whenever I play glory competitive, the one thing I hate is when there is a 4 v 4, and that player decides to leave knowing this bailout will deduct major points on the team, the player just left. This setup is flawed, players who leave their team their glory points should be deducted. Players who stay, their points should remain the same for example, I have 560 for my glory rank 2 level. Being in a 3 v 4 match knowing we are going to lose, our glory points should not be deducted nor improve if a player decides to leave, to me that is fair. But if the teams are even throughout the match, then there must be a winner and loser. That the losers team glory points should be deducted in an even 4 v 4 match that is. Again, an uneven fight our points should not go down nor go up, knowing the 3 man and woman squad are going to lose that match fighting for the Claymore pulse rifle against a bunch of sweatys'? The uneven team should not be penalized by taking away our points that we work so hard obtaining. If you are in a 3 guardian team, your glory points should remain the same even though you are going to lose being outnumbered against 4, that's fair to me. 4 v 4 an even match to the end, where there are a winner and loser, the losers team points are deducted.

As you can see from the responses, no one is happy with whatever happens.

I fully agree I hate control. Why we got this stupid quickly is beyond me why can't we choose game modes

It was removed because, like the the name of the game, it was ruled quickplay! I started to forget Clash and Control existed

Supremacy is just straight garbage in my opinion, it promotes that teamshotting thingy that everyone hates, and feels so slow

Supremacy is being added to the weekly crucible playlist. So that week where it could be mayhem, NOPE, it’s supremacy for a whole week. But then at least quickplay will be 6v6 and always control or clash. When they add bounties back into the game they need to make bounties like d1 where 50 hc kills gave a hc etc. They need to make people want to play the playlists so they could add a bounty for each week that relates to the weekly playlist. If supremacy, bounty could be collect x amount of kill crests, collect x amount of teammates deaths crests, win matches. If mayhem then x amount of super kills, win games, multi kills, kill streak etc. All these things were obvious and well accepted in d1 so their exclusion from d2 originally is crazy. Technically bungie are giving us changes like weapon slots, random rolls and bounties etc for free with the season updates but if you want the changes to be relevant you need to buy the expansions. So it was a smart move (and will never be admitted to) by bungie to remove content from d1 and slowly introduce it into d2 under the umbrella of season changes but what good are weapon slot changes etc for eg leviathan raid when Levi will be a year old and not relevant anymore. But hey, it’s free right? Right........?

It's a terrible game mode that most guardians hate.

I would have prefered they removed control from quickplay and made it a weekly playlist since Iron Banner is seemingly permanent control. I've grown to despise control since half the community doesnt have a clue how to play the mode.
