D1 armor looked way better than the armor in D2
It all looks so bland or utterly immature and rediculous.
Please bring back D1 artists.

And they thought we would want to farm for these cosmetics in D2... Most D1 gear was fun to farm because not only did they look great, they were functional as well.

Beyond the "Cosmetic", D1 armor was always more useful and had better Perks than D2 ever will. Basically D2 armor allows oen to play Barbie Dress Up doll with your Titan. Considering how badly Bungie nerfed our Super and Abilities, this shouldn't surprise anyone.

Totally agree, especially Iron Banner gear. D2 esthetics (and especially perks on armour or lack their of) are inferior.

i think the hunter and warlock armor looks good but the titan armor is just awful. just. awful.

1 ReplyWho the -blam!- made the synthoceps. Seriously they look like Testicles. I wanted my titan to be sexy and strong. I didn't want my titan to look like a walking penis.

And the exotic ornaments are underwhelming. Some making the item look worse once applied.

Titan armor looks like those same hobo warlocks decided to be fashion designers for the titans, and pulled scrap metal from scrap heaps.

It's about whole design: armors, weapons, ships, textures, colors, titan stance and proportions, hunter leggins etc. All of this was much and much better in D1. P.S. I see this problem, even I didn't play D1.

4 RepliesHonestly i really wish Rarity didn't dictate usage, i usually end up liking Rare armor designs better than Legendary or Exotic, sometimes Uncommon and Common have their own decent look, I think any and all armor should be infusable, give players the entire game's loot pool to use rather than 30-40%

Not in the slightest. But consumable shaders is still a dumb idea. On that, D1 was better.

It's like Crota's gear when you added the ornaments, thinking about the kids that play the game. My gear looked like it had a special little toy sticking out of it but all over it. I was Like WTH. It was so wrong! lol.

I purposely don't play my Titan unless I'm doing the weekly milestones because I cannot stand the look of the 1970's style NFL shoulder pads on EVERY type of Titan armor. I thought making my Titan a female would tone it down enough but no luck. Damn shame.

I just want a decent red black or black red shader. I mean at this point I want to look more like a shadow of yor then Rainbow bright.
