Leviathan raid, and raid layer glitch issues.

So, I’m not on the forums very often, but does anyone else experience broken mechanics and bugs consistently to the point where it’s like a raid mechanic? Example 1: Gauntlets. Enemies just appearing out of the door 3 inches from your face. When you are a runner, sliding on the bottom circle is like hitting an invisible wall. Example 2: phase 1 of SoS boss fight. Throwing the orb at the ship and it does nothing. My raid team and I got into huge fights for not grabbing the buff with the orb. Then we all had cycled through and realized we all did have the buff. We are just curious how common these different issues all are. Do to the glitching of SoS, we have gotten so fed up that we haven’t even completed it yet. We enjoy the raids, but the glitches are fairly annoying. I have a small theory that it could be due to the new way the game is running off of Cloud Servers. Probably couldn’t fix that at this point if it’s a server based issue. But yea, just curious on other peoples and raid team experiences with this.

  • Guantlet random psions spawn Castellum flags not visible Dogs pathing randomly and getting stuck in safe room Guantlet stalls and adds don’t spawn in some cases if a runner dies Calus not there Calus immune on final stand Void room right side at end lip the pulls you through Guantlet adds teleporting Dogs dodging looses your spores Spire of stars Dior glitch where missles won’t arm Spire where calus goes up after first ball Spire if someone dies in final stand everyone gets stuck in endless death loop Spire no ledge grab on fans (intentional?) And that is what I thought of at lunch today

    • Another one that's happened to me twice now on SOS.... Kill Val C. at the last second and he goes into the infinite wipe cycle. So you kill him; the game acknowledges the win by putting up the completion on screen and dropping the chest on the stage.... and then proceeds to wipe the team over and over and over and over and... well you get it. You have to go to the postmaster to get your stuff... unless you're a masochist who wants to take 50 deaths trying to get to the stage between wipes 😆

      • On calus void room I sometimes experience my character randomly hop into the air as if I got hit by a psion even after we all clear out psions before they attack. It even happens in the beginning where there are no psions aside from the ones in bubbles. It happens completely at random and I hate It. Almost got kicked at one point because of this glitch. No one believed me when I explained what was happening. You're behind the purple barricade only for your character to randomly fly into the air even though it's still there and you stay put...that's frustrating.

        • I have another glitch to add. My team was running through Prestige Leviathan and up to that point we had first tried everything, and it was looking to go the same way for Calus. We just barely one phased him on the final plate, an entire first try raid for us. Except, when Calus activated his last stand, he was completely immune. There was nothing we could do but sit there and die. It took my team thirty minutes just to make it to the damage phase again after that. I’m not blaming my team falling apart on the glitch, but it’s still pretty annoying knowing that we would’ve been done so much quicker if the game didn’t rob us of our win.

          • For example 2 did you arm the leviathan before throwing the orb at the ship?

            • The running one is just that the bottom holes have less space to work with. Just get to the wall, sprint into it, and slide in the center and it should work.

            • It wouldn't be a Destiny raid without some weird glitch keeping you from completing it smoothly.

            • I've had a run where is was on phase 2 on sos and a ball was missed and got stick in one of the boxes behind the boss and caused us to whipe

            • Bungie have made the leviathan so unnecessarily mechanical focused (mechanics I haven't got an issue with but how bungie implement mechanics is just plain lazy) that even they are struggling to keep up with what's going on in it...

              • Enemies are pretty laggy during Gauntlet, true. But they dont usually get too far from the door anyway ;) As for sliding through the bottom ring and hitting an invisible wall - never seen that.
