Change language of Destiny 2
I am trying to change the Destin2 game in Italian is there a way I can do that. I remember Destiny 1 you just set your settings to whatever language you want and the game plays in that language, not in English. I am trying to learn the language so I am trying to immerse myself in everything I do. Bugie Please Help. You would think with many people complaining about this they would open up language packs for the game or something or do what they did in Destiny 1. but who knows if they would read this and even reply with answers. Just a guy trying to learn a language. thank you

Hi, I post this message because i had the same problem than you (sort of), but with a bug. I tried several times to change language on PS5 from French to English and each time i launched the game after i switched the PS5 to english language, D2 crashed with an error. The fix was easy, the English language pack was not in downloaded, only the French package. Press Option on Destiny 2 icon in your PS4/PS4 game center -> Manage game content - > download the language package you want, install it and it should work. It worked for me.

While jannicck and Golden provided [b]workarounds[/b] for PS and Xbox platforms, I do believe that Bungie should provide language change option in game settings (even if it would require, for instance, restarting the game). Destiny 2 is a multiplayer game that puts focus on [b]cooperation[/b] between players. Since most and best game resources, discussions etc. are in English, it is highly beneficent to be able to play the game in English too. However, since doing so requires changing the language of the whole console system, it becomes challenging if you share your console with family or roommates who prefer to use the system in their national language. This is why I strongly believe, that Bungie should prioritize adding language change option to the game. (Technical speculation: ) since they already switch the language based on system's language, it would be especially hard to just add a language selection in the game settings and apply changes after restart. Language changing should also be enable in the companion app. The request was recognised by Bungie's TheRealHashtag42, but it's still one the backlog since December of 2018! Hey i see that you are playing on Ps4. You have to change the System Language from your ps4 to your favorite language. After that you can start destiny 2 again, maybe you have to download a few megabytes of new language content, but after that you can play destiny 2 in your favorite language. I hope i could help you out.

If you are on Xbox, I believe you have to go to your settings and change your Xbox's language to Italian. I did that a few times and It worked for me when I tried playing Overwatch and other games in Spanish.
