I need super mills for the last iron banner ornament and it seems like getting kills with supers in iron banner is way harder than in quickplay. People just run away when they hear it, or they group up and melt you even when you’re in a super. Masterwork armor doesn’t help in the slightest and it just makes for a real frustrating time. Mercy rule also doesn’t help since it usually ends it before I’m able to get my super.

It's a pain as a hunter, and kinda a pain as a warlock. Dawnblade isn't too bad, but even with tracking I've had people simply turn around and sprint and outrun the dawn blade sword (which tanks into the ground at their feet as they flee). I've had much better luck as a titan with hammers. You get good damage resistance, the ranged hammers are quite fatal, you get a decent amount of them, and the roaming super timer a good long time if you don't spam the throw button.

2 RepliesWhat class do you play? As a Hunter I prefer Gunslinger though I see a lot of Arc Strider these days as well. In general, wait until you see multiple enemies in close proximity to each other. Don't waste it on one guy. Take advantage of skill trees that replenish health on kills. Don't play like you're a tank, use cover, move around.

You're absolutely right on that. Sometimes it's just a matter of luck, the map, and how the other team is moving. This is based on my experience for having completed it, based on each class. Warlock: Dawnblade on most maps, though I'd avoid leaping up too often unless it's to quickly move about or get above a target - the bottom skill tree prolongs the Super with each kill, but Stormcaller is better on maps that are more enclosed and with plenty. Pacifica allowed me to easily chain five kills together before being killed. Hunter: Raiden Flux or the new helmet and Arcstrider. GG is solid for the range but you either have to quickly burn six shots or be limited to three. Voidwalker with Moebius Quiver could work but you can't as quickly work through a crowd of enemies like Raiden Flux. Titan: Sunbreaker seems best overall owing to range; even on more enclosed maps where people can avoid a Fist of Havoc as easily a hammer accomplishes the same effect overall.

what class are you playing? Either way just pop your super behind cover so you don't get insta melted and emote to see if people are near and go in fearlessly. He who hesitates is lost.
