My friend and sister got wrongfully banned on PC.
They both play on PC and I can damn well assure that they are legit players. They have never used cheats. What the hell is going on? Just thought I would share.

Ignore the haters on here. They'd be throwing a fit if it happened to them. Bungie has bungled something on their end and it's clear that those of us that have been banned have been done so wrongfully. These people just want to feel superior by beating people over the head with the ToC when they're down to make themselves feel better.

Edit#1: Bungie has reversed my ban. I will copy paste the message I received. Hello, First and foremost: Your account is no longer banned from Destiny 2. We want to apologize for what must have been a very frustrating 24 hours. Bungie takes bans and restrictions in Destiny very seriously. A human reviews every ban before it is issued, and in this case we took action based on a high level of confidence in the data we saw. As a matter of policy, we monitor discussions on our forums and social media after issuing bans. When we saw a higher-than-usual amount of complaints about unfair bans this morning, it triggered a second review of our security systems. We have already taken steps to address the issue in our system, and will be reviewing similar systems to make sure this type of thing doesn’t happen in the future

Here you can see if your Ban may be permanent or temporary. Bungie checks each account carefully before banning to avoid mistakes. Yesterday Bungie has backed maintenance. have they used trial "arranged" match in the last 3 months ? aka matching your friends and quitting for flawless on separate region or low player time ?
