The Destiny 2 demo on PC has been discontinued. If you want to try the game out yourself, your only option (without purchasing) is to visit a friend with it installed and try it out. Your next best option is to watch a streamer or video of gameplay. The only differences you'll get are graphical, and with PC being what it is, you may end up with more or less issues than some other people are having (since hardware for PC is extremely varied). If you do decide to buy Destiny 2 for PC, make sure you have absolutely nothing else running that has a chance of injecting code into anything (Destiny 2 or something else) as the anticheat on Destiny 2 for PC is very sensitive.
