I got banned for no reason(Please Read)

Basically, I was just playing the game on my second account, which is a hunter and I was trying to get my second subclass. All of a sudden I got "Attention Contacting Destiny 2 Servers" which I knew was going to kick me out of the game, but little did I know I was actually getting banned. I tried to enter the game and it said "not so fast, this account has been banned. Visit bungie.net/ban in order to find more information" (something along those lines). So of course I was initially shocked and disappointed. I follow the link and read through the entire page and see that it says something like: bungie works hard to ban those that are actually guilty, rather than those that are innocent. However, it was quite ironic that I, the innocent, was banned. Now I don't know the reason, but I know that I have been following the code of conduct and playing legally. I have not cheated a single time or done anything rude to anyone that would have crossed your lines. If you could, I would appreciate it if my account got pardoned, although I had done nothing wrong in the first place. The anticheat software that the game runs on may have detected something on my computer, but I don't have anything that benefits me in this game or any game for that matter. So please if you can unban me or at least let me understand what happened that would be fantastic. Thank you!

  • In Destiny there are account restriction and bans. Restrictions are only temporary, but if it's the case that you indeed got a ban those are permanent. Please note that Bungie will not discuss or overturn account restrictions or bans. • Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, autofire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific. Bungie does not discuss restrictions or bans. Permanent account bans are only implemented with rigorous checking to ensure that the innocent are not punished alongside the guilty. Bans are lifetime for that account https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929

    • Something must be up because I am having the same issue right now. I have done nothing to justify any ban, especially a full account ban. And as of about 15 minutes ago I was contacting servers and am now seeing the account ban message. Help!
