Destiny 2 Audio cutting in/out
Ive tried re-installing, ressetting audio devices, setting audio quality back down to cd/dvd levels, restarting computer, using different ports for audio device, i cant get destiny 2 to work properly

I am encountering the same issue... noticed it a lot more when having other people join my party for nightfall farming. The audio will straight up cut out, and sometimes the sound for music cuts, but the gameplay remains. Now I notice it even when doing something like a solo join, matchmaking battlegrounds. I've tried disabling the HD audio like some videos recommended. This didn't work.

I had to enable both monitors, as I wanted to conserve resources by disabling the onboard monitor, and just have the other one on. Turns out the tablet was swapping something in the background like flickering on and off, and this would cut out the sound for me. Not sure if this is the same for you, maybe you have a laptop. I would say try swapping the HDMI cables and trying different modes of display. Granted my other screen still flickers but at least the sound stays... still unsettling that Destiny would be doing this and that no one is able to help.
