Why are people upset this Xxx tentacle guy is dead?

I mean I didn’t know who he was really until the news of his death broke- but I mean while he had a horrible childhood and a hard life the dude was -blam!-ed and ‘allegedly’ did some pretty not so nice stuff. So my question is with this guy’s track record why are people grieving this dude and posting nice stuff about him? Are the accusations BS or do people just not care?

  • No clue why anyone's upset. I had a lengthy talk about this with some friends recently, and we all agreed that he was a shitty person, yet found it disheartening to see so many people shitting on him after his death. It's not cool to do that. Unless you're talking about Hitler.

    • A good chunk of what I've seen on this forum (about beating a pregnant woman) was found out to be a lie mainly by the person who perpetuated it in the first place. She came out with it on Instagram and said it was all fake that she was pregnant, though he did assault her. A lot of the people who are grieving are also in support of his family and helping them cope with the murder of their son. What I've also noticed on this forum are that a lot of people here are actively celebrating his murder, saying that he deserved it, with some saying that if they had the ability, they'd raise him back from the dead just to kill him again. I don't know him, never really listened to his music, and I'm neutral on him as a person, but I have the common sense , decency, and parents who actually raised me properly and did a good job at being parents to not celebrate a murder. Did he do bad things? Sure. Everyone does bad things, no one is this "pure" and "morally superior" person, because every single person in the world has skeletons in their closet that they don't want others to know. But to celebrate someone getting murdered and even saying that the family deserves him getting murdered, like a good number of people on this forum have said? There's no moral superiority at this point for anyone in this forum celebrating a murder of a young adult.

      • He did a complete 180 of his life and ppl still hated him for his past. (Ironic right?) Anyway he was murdered after changing his life for the better and was doin good stuff in his community. He was one of my favorite new rappers and his music really helps struggling and sad teenagers/young adults

          • Because he was the most popular music artist at the time, an influence on troubled youth, (an overlooked issue in America) and was actually a decent person. Sure, he did some bad things, but no one is morally pure enough to criticize him the way they are. It was 3 years ago and he had been doing a lot trying to change his image and reputation, something most people don't have the effort to do. This was to the point that he was hosting a charity event that weekend he died. The media doesn't give him justice for it though. They also refuse to post any other picture aside from his mugshot.

X was doing charity events trying to get a lot, ALOT of kids to head towards a good direction in life and was trying to turn his own life around. He did beat a gay man in prison, not because he was gay,but the man was coming on to him in the shower and had to defend himself His music was beginning to change for the better as well, having better messages then they used to. TLDR- His story was becoming one of redemption when he was killed
I will provide links to back up all I said if needed
• Because if you’re popular, and certainly if you’re a popular celebrity, you get a free pass. It’s the obsession America has with glorifying celebrities as royalty that’s the problem. I’ve got no idea why actors and singers are treated like that. They can’t hold a candle to child cancer researchers, surgeons etc who you wouldn’t be able to name even one. I had no idea who he was and looking at his past, couldn’t care less.

                  • I am not a fan of the guy, as I don't really know him or his music (just not my style) but despite his track record, the kid was 20 years old, leaving a motorcycle dealership, and was shot to death in his car. The guy was not perfect, but no one is. Yes, he had a trouble past, but come on. The kid was murdered in public. He has fans that love him and his music. Do you really have to ask why people are upset? We all have someone we are fans of that are not perfect, but we still care for them. For example, Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying. Dude hired a hit-man, who ended up being an undercover cop, to murder his wife. What he did was -blam!-ed up beyond belief. I do not support what he did in any way, and truthfully, he got off easy and is very fortunate. But I still love the guy and the music he made. Hell As I Lay Dying are back as a band and working together and I will support what they do. Point is, people do -blam!-ed up shit and may have a tarnished image, but they still have loyal fans who support them no matter what. It's a no-brainer that people are going to be upset, regardless if you agree or not.
