Are the sandbox team washed up and out of touch?

Mostly what we hear from these people is: “I MADE HALO”. Yeah. That was 2008. It’s often been said that Destiny 2 was an attempt to make the franchise play as much as legacy Halo as possible. Just listen to the last crucible podcast. The sandbox leads say as such in a roundabout way actually referencing halo from the previous decade . Josh Hamrick, Jon Weisnewski and Kevin Yanes definitely talk as if we simply don’t understand their sublime vision of perfection . Their reasoning for the current status quo is bizarrely disconnected from reality. Give the podcast a listen. Unfortunately, Destiny pvp has never been less popular than now and Destiny 2 pvp has never been popular. Time to relent and admit defeat, sandbox team. Time to restore Destiny 1 gameplay in full. Share your thoughts below Original post https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/8qvoz7/destiny_pvp_is_dead_and_the_people_who_killed_it/

If you ask me, PvP as a whole just ruins Destiny overall. In D1 it was the main reason for tons of nerfs and in D2, it's a complete joke because everything's too weak and unbalanced. The sandbox team has to completely separate PvE and PvP stats if they want to make Desinty 2 flourish. That, or make strictly PvP oriented weapons and lock out Supers (something I'm sure most of us wouldn't want if we can help it).
