They made such a big deal about our gear in the tower being destroyed and they just want to sell it back to us.
The worst part for me is they attach these quests to the weapons to make them feel like a big deal but they either wind up being bad (Rat King) or same old (Mida Multi Tool) and what was The Sleeper Sim quest about. Think about how dumb The Ace of Spades is going to be it wasn't that good in it's prime but here they are trying to make it feel special when one of it's perks doesn't exist anymore.

Out of curiosity, how much do YOU think you paid to get Telesto, or Mida, or Suros, anything like that? What fraction of the games value do you assign to a small number of guns?

I can't really assign a monetary value to each weapon because we don't get the option to buy the weapons, we buy the DLC and you get a chance for for the weapons (RNG and such) but since the returning weapons came from the budget of the last game and not the current one it seems off to buy them again. It's the quest lines for worst versions of what we already had is my issue.
