Clan Keeps Getting Falsely Reported

We keep getting banned for clan name/description. The first time I understood (Dip My Cabals) but we had the clan name since D1 and never had an issue until a few months ago. Then we changed it to High Intensity Vex, and that got banned as well. In my opinion, this one is not offensive at all and I'm pretty sure it's an ex clan mate that keeps reporting us. Any help is gladly appreciated.

  • Hi Evil Yard Gnome, I'll leave the Ninja group page so you can contact one of them and explain your situation. https://www.bungie.net/en/Groups/Chat?groupId=121 They are the only ones that can help in this occasion, if your clan name didn't break any rules.

  • After reading all the comments, all I can say is wow, the world has become filled with overly sensitive babies...

    • How can you understand "Dip My Cabals" being inappropriate but not "High Intensity Vex"? They're basically the same thing.

Any help is gladly appreciated.
Any play on sexual connotations, such as High Intensity _ex (if I leave out a letter, you should be able to more clearly see the issue as how this is a play on a word), can be found offensive, and as such, liable to get poked by a Ninja. Add in that your tag was _exy, and that adds more evidence that you intended for it to be a play on words. This is just having to do with that one that got bopped. If your 'current' name had any such things, such as having a name with three words and each one started with a K, so even without the tag being KKK, its acronym was KKK, then that'd probably get bopped, too. So watch what you're doing and don't intentionally try to sneak past some play on words with the name, the tag, or the acronym of the name and you'll be fine. Just because you find it funny or cute doesn't make it any less suggestive or offensive, and as such doesn't make it immune to the Code of Conduct. Yes, you can complain all day about people who are too sensitive, but you have to face the fact that if a Ninja didn't think your name was suggestive, it wouldn't get poked. Ninjas probably get reports all the time from disgruntled exclanmates, but if the clan name or the like has nothing wrong and it's just a false report, nothing happens. They only punish the punishable, and if there's nothing to punish, then no punishment happens. So my suggestion to you is go with something that's not suggestive at all. If you can change a letter or two and make it suggestive, obscene, or threatening, then pick something else. As far as having had one since D1, there's a difference between doing something bad while not getting caught and not doing something bad in the first place. Just because you went for a time without something being reported doesn't make it okay, it just means you didn't get caught for a while.

      •
The first time I understood (Dip My Cabals)
Bungie does not like names that play on sexual tones.
Then we changed it to High Intensity Vex
Let me guess, your clan tag was "HIV". If it was, you do not see how insensitive and inappropriate that can seem?
The first time I understood (Dip My Cabals) but we had the clan name since D1 and never had an issue until a few months ago.
That just means nobody noticed until recently or nobody reported you. It doesn't mean there was nothing wrong with your clan name.
Then we changed it to High Intensity Vex, and that got banned as well.
Which spells out HIV.
In my opinion, this one is not offensive at all and I'm pretty sure it's an ex clan mate that keeps reporting us. Any help is gladly appreciated.
"False" reports result in no action. So clearly Bungie agrees with the reports that your attempts at witty sexual names/descriptions are a violation of their code of conduct. The help you need is to stop trying to make names like that.
