Where also the players to spam stickies, panic slam, used lightning nades, used wombo combo, mapador 69s, Icebreakers, Sidearms,Pali, and Luna aka the most abusive things in d1
Edit: I see alot of people think in mad. If like to state I'm not just annoyed with lack of diversity.

A Crimson... The last time you played on your lock was IB, so you were probably using it then. Besides, who cares what people use?

I think a lot of this is perception. With Nameless Midnight or Kibou I do better than I do with Graviton Lance. Yeah GL may have a slightly faster ttk but NM throws off their aim much more. GL is terrible close range and I can wreck people using it often by getting close with a good auto rifle. VW gives me trouble still so I just disengage those fights when I'm solo.

8 RepliesYes it’s annoying that the meta is so narrow right now. However as an example of what you’re saying ; I work in medicine, now if I give a patient a less effective antibiotic should I be applauded for doing so ? After all meta is the most effective tool available.

14 RepliesDo u kno why people use these weapons..? Cause they have the lowest ttk and are the most effective weapons out there right now. Can the GL and VW be outplayed by other guns..? Yes they can, but when u get two players of equal skill 9 times out of 10 the player using the best meta weapon is gonna win. That’s just fact, so people want to give themselves the most advantage they can. Not the communities fault and doesn’t make the players using them trash, just the way a meta works . META- Most Effective Tactic or Tool Available

I'm sorry but my crucible gauntlet's Ornament says that I have to kill 600 guardians with a Pulse Rifle. I'm about halfway there. Until then, I'll keep spamming Graviton Lance. As for the hand cannon headshot kills, I've already completed that but I'll keep using my trusty Service Revolver.

I know I like to mix it up some and do things like double hand cannons. It’s always those 4 stack teams of clan members in quick play playing like it’s mlg finals with meta weapons. Seriously quick play is suppose to be fun relaxed gameplay. Go to competitive to play sweaty. I wish quick play was solo queue only.

It's the "meta". People use the meta all the time. In a month, someone will post something about an OP whatever, and that will all of the sudden become the meta. The good thing about D2 is that this just happens naturally. M.I.D.A. is no longer "meta", at least no one is bitching about it, but guess what, it still is just as good as it ever was. The Colony? Yup, just as obnoxious as it was before. Complainers gonna complain, that is why they should just be ignored. Anyone who is complaining about the meta, really doesn't know what they are talking about. IMO.
