Karnstein Armlets - Vampire’s Caress Perk failure
Not only is there no “On Screen notifier” of it working ( “Vampire’s Caress” and countdown timer if active ) or sound effect ( if any )
It does NOT function. Melee attacks done as required showed no highlight of enemy or health return after kill.
Please look into both the On Screen notifier of function and the perk capabilities.

They're basically a worse version of the ram from d1. They should make it more like that and by the way glowing claws appear on them upon melee hit.

1 Replyever since they "fixed" them, they've become useless. They were a favorite, now they're just... meh.

They used to be great for Storm callers,as they would trigger health regeneration when you killed opponents with Storm Trance. This is probably the reason why Bungie decided to change it.

1 ReplyWhile we're here, I'd like to post a similar thing about the Warlock chest exotic "Sanguine Alchemy". Perk grants enhanced radar and marks priority targets while in a rift, which I find pretty pointless. I also haven't noticed any targets being marked or highlighted when I used it, so I don't know if that's a glitch or what. The enhanced radar perk, however, should just be all the time; otherwise, it's pretty much a useless exotic space used up. I literally only wear it because it looks good with my outfit.
