We asked for a grind.
I had over 300 archon's forge completions in Destiny 1 before I got the saladins vigil. It was extremely frustrating, but the wait was worth it.

What???? That thing dropped all the time...the forge was not really rng stressed, it was fun as hell, but not generally known for being stingy with loot

Nah man. The two weapons, but not forgotten and saladin's vigil, didn't have a very high drop rate. Depending on the difficulty of the forge you were doing. I just had a bit worse luck than others. It happens. I got around 3 snipers on the way there, but I wasn't a sniper in D1.

Really, i was dismantling those all the time, and the armor also, mind you i was not really rng blessed in d1 lol I looked and i have like 4 different rolls on each of those weapons Idk....just didnt seem to be that stingy far as i recall
