Has anyone found a good place to get Cosmology kills for the Graviton catalyst?
I thought about doing The Dark Beyond mission but I couldn't find it. Or the moon. Do we still even have a moon?
Edit: Since this thread is still getting replies, the answer is definitely to wish to Shuru Chi. I don’t see how there could possibly be a better place to farm catalyst kills than this encounter. It’s great for any weapon, and you respawn at a raid banner spot.

You can shoot the shadow thrall in the whisper quest. Just fall through the floor on the part where you have to climb up the wall.

6 RepliesReplay Hephestus on Mars. Go to the end where you have to protect the server. Thrall are pretty much unlimited at this part. Watch the counter and let them kill you around 85-90%. Rinse, repeat, you've just "Woken the Hive".

Crucible. Those things do 100 damage if they hit anyone near your kill.

1 Reply1: Go to time settings and set yourself back a day. (To prevent others from matching in your zone) 2: Go To Glacial Drift on Mars. 3: Activate Escalation Protocol. 4: Get the Thrall in a big blob, then shoot one and the rest will be killed by Cosmology. 5: Once the Thrall are dead, Acolytes and Knights will spawn. Load back into Glacial Drift. 6: Go back to step 3.

My buddy did it yesterday by farming EP. He just killed a whole bunch of hive. Took him about an hr or so. I ended up joining him for fun and got the Exotic sword catalyst to drop lol

2 RepliesTurn date and time settings back one day on your PlayStation. This will cause no one to spawn in with you in game. Start up EP and use the thralls for the kills

Edited by HaouRyuk: 6/14/2018 4:06:30 AMMars, do one of Escalations near where the injection rig spawns, let all the thrall group around you, kill one, watch them all die, repeat until acolyte spawn, leave and go to the near by lost sector, shoot for the Knights first and when you get to the boss room run in, back out through the small door and wait for thrall, you can generally kill all reinforcements in one shot, hit the boss and repeat. One you finish the lost sector the Escalation should have expired just repeat, if there's too many people around trying to "help" reload the area, you'll get about 6-10% per run and be done in a couple hours.

If you have the Warmind dlc, go to mars and do EP to kill thrall. If not, find some fallen mining public events and make it heroic. It should help.

I did it fairly quickly by doing first wave of EP. start it and let them bunch up and kill a couple and watch it do it’s magic.

3 RepliesGo to Anna Bray -- get her non-heroic Hephaestus daily mission. Get to the part of the mission where you need extra processing power to decrypt the encrypted data -- LOTS of low-level Hive will rush in while the percentage timer ticks to 100%. Stay alive without shooting until there are 3+ Hive in the area, then kill one of them. The resulting Cosmology chain explosions will get you multiple Hive per group. If done correctly, you will get around 4-5% of required Cosmology kills per full run. Kill yourself with a floor rocket as the progress meter hits 100% (don't worry, even if it finishes, you can still kill yourself to repeat this area). Took me about 1.5 hours to complete the GL Catalyst unlock doing the above.
