Crucible should be called “hide behind my team and camp teamshot simulator”

So I just got done with my call to arms..and you know what..I didn’t win 1 match..every match I went in I was going a against a 3 or 4 man fire team...now it is okay to play with your team..but there is a difference between playing with your team and playing like a pussy, so many players like to act oblivious to this...but those are usually the ones who play like pussies and won’t admit that the team shotting and retreating from 1v1 battles is out of control. Now you guys can blame Bungie all you want..but nah..this style of crucible play is a direct affect of players weak gunplay..no matter what gun the meta is at the time. No special weapon to fall back on..forces you to use a primary or energy..the result is not standing and fighting but always relying on your teammates to help you. Now..I know what’s gonna happen..somebody will probably mention my KD or something..my answer to that is I play destiny on PS4..1v1 me if your would like so you don’t have help..I expose people all the time..my gamer tag is the same as my Bungie profile...peace to the players who don’t camp and come out and fight...and phook the players who just sit back and camp and team shot..you have ruined destiny.

I know why people have these smart ass remarks..because I blamed the community and not Bungie...well..I don’t like to follow trends so I will not be blaming Bungie for this...it’s all on the players playing like pussies

2 RepliesMaybe some should change tactics/strategies. Maybe some should use the team chat. Maybe some should take a bong hit, take a step back and look at the big picture. At the end of the day, it’s just a video game. One’s crucible and pve stats mean nothing on a resume. I’m waiting to for that story on the Army Times, Joe Schmo was recruited to be an 18x because he was in the top 10% in D2 crucible. It will never happen, when it does, one has to wake up and realize it was just a dream.

2 RepliesSo you just got through with your call to arms. Didn't win one match. Played against a bunch of team shooting pussies. Played against people retreating from 1v1 battles. How does it feel to get out played by a bunch of pussies? How does it feel to know those pussies are just smarter than you are? Knowing they baited you, and you fell for it every time? You see your problem is you want to play a certain way, and others know the game, and how it plays. They use it to their advantage as any good player would do. You want to come here and call them pussies, and such, but the reality is, that's how the game is played. It's not their fault. If anything, you was the one likely running in costing your team a shot at winning by feeding the other team kills. You don't have to like that, or agree that is the best game style. However that's not the fault of the players. They are playing to win, and matching their play-style to the game.

I’ll always break off from the pack at the beginning because I like getting into 1 v 1 gunfights, but when a team is playing together, you kinda have no choice but to play that way too. If you don’t, you end up hurting your team most of the time.

4 RepliesI did Rumble for milestones this week and it is so much better than quick play. Even if you’re at the bottom of the results it’s still more enjoyable than getting team shot. Games seem to go by quicker as well.

I lost every match last night, solo queue against all randoms, 3 out of the 4 games I played and I can't help but wonder wtf is the matchmaking doing? Top of my team and always losing? P.S wormhaven is the Nuketown of destiny. All campers, no fun.

If thats pussie then whom ever is just standing there taking a death is a dumbass. I'd rather be a pussie that wins, than a dumbass who loses. Playing as a team means a lot of things, team shooting meta is a myth. If you aren't shooting the same people as your team, then you are doing it wrong. If your teammate is weak and has gotten a enemy weak as well, you are a bad teammate if you do not swap places (without blocking them) and getting the clean up kill. Yes watching a whole team in one lane of sight is annoying. But can be countered. Through out the entirety of a match, pushing and laning is just part of any shooter. Over extending will get you killed. Playing too passive will leave teammates out to dry. So there must be a balance between those types of players when you see or know your teammates are playing a certain way. Even camping can been seen as strategic. Yes, It is very annoying and some people do do it too much, but in reality this is an arcade shooter and it isnt going to work for very long, like one or two kills, maybe. But again it can be countered I rage when either of these two happen to me, just as much as the next person. But it can be countered.
