-
5 RepliesCayde 6 will be dead but we'll get us a cayde 7
-
I want to believe hes dead but theyll find a way to bring him back somehow
-
4 RepliesConfirmed dead by Bungie
you’re dumb
-
Dead before his action figure comes out. (Guess McFarlane better hurry up and get the new Hunter Vanguard figure released) There are so many ways he could return though, get the tin foil hats out!
-
I want to believe he's going to come back as well but on game rant it does say bungie confirmed he's officially dead because the question was asked. Until the release of the dlc it's speculation at best.

11 RepliesBungie confirmed he’s permanently dead in the e3 stream.
-
Wow. Calling people dumb. Really??
-
11 RepliesI’m dumb for knowing that Guardians can’t come back when their Ghosts are killed? Okay..guess so.

Dies now revive at 3.
Why they dont kill eververse though.....I was wondering....
-
Yep caydes not coming back unfortunately and sure killing a main character was needed to bring some sort of emotional attachment and a sense of what we're doing in the next expansion but the reason that they killed cayde is because of shitty writing and so he's the only one we carefully about And for anyone wondering if theres a possibility of him coming back its a definatly not as it'll ruin the Meaning of his death and in warmind explained that reboots are only used to wipe exos memory's so their human consciousness doesn't rebel against the foreign exo body and he's ghost was shot in the eye striaght on not like a glancing shot like sagira.
-
I mean, the Ultra Hyper Dead Ana Bray somehow came back despite being even more dead than Bungie's fanbase's trust in Bungie, so this one might be on to something.
-
It’s okay, you’re just in denial
-
1 ReplyThey did not say he was permanently dead. I cant imagine a destiny.. even a bad one.. without Cayde.
-
He's dead, like perma dead. It was in an interview
-
15 RepliesEdited by Lunyarch: 6/14/2018 1:26:45 PM
I bet by mission 3 he'll be back.
Nope. He's 110% Dead. Permanently. They shot/destroyed his ghost, which means no more resurrection. Then Uldren shot him in the mother -blam-ing head. He's dead.
-
Exos reboot to stop them having a mental breakdown that's kills them not a shot to head/chest, that literally destroyed his mind he can't revive because his ghost was shot and destroyed, cayde is dead
-
1 ReplyAny chance of him coming back will be via reboot, and reboots erase all but their name so he's practically a whole new Exo (not even a guardian anymore) if his body is salvageable.
-
3 RepliesIn an interview they said hes dead for real
-
I absolutely 100% agree. Need the happy ending for the kiddies!

Edited by Calius-12: 6/12/2018 11:24:15 AMDenial ain't just a river in Egypt, Guardian. -Cayde-6 (probably)

I say we're hopeful
-
3 RepliesIf he does stay dead he’ll be Cayde-7 but I’ll be surprised if Bungie does keep him dead.
-
He may be. I'm not sure what to think. On all the promotional material it uses cayde's gun. However, Cayde is also being brought with you after the trailer ends. There is no footage of Cayde after what seems to be the first mission (where you touch down in the prison of elders). I mostly believe he won't die but will be out of commission for at least a while. His ghost was firmly shot and I'm not quite sure he can survive a headshot and be able to be brought back to life, but hey the traveler's light is pretty mystical.
