First run regular nightfall

If you are trying to get the nightfall sniper, I’d try doing a few high score runs. Chances seem to be drastically higher in those runs. When me and my friends were doing runs for 110000 points, I got the sniper on my second try, and another friend got one short after that. They take like 20 min rather than the seven it takes for a speed run, but I think it is worth

[i]90 runs?...[/i] yikes. I got it on my 2nd prestige run the first week with a score of 50K. It’s the only nightfall item that has dropped for me though.

Oh mate I'm so glad you said that as I thought I was the only one.. As of now I'm on like 86 completions and still nothing.. I get it's a grind and hey I like a grind otherwise I wouldn't do it BUT this is seriously stupid,of all the runs I've done normal/prestige with tons of randos I've heard it dropped for like 6 people and one said "Oh that's my third one now" sickening just sickening... Yeah we don't have to grind and yeah we wanted the grind BUT it's ridiculous and maybe the drop rate should be increased or double every ten strikes til you get it.. I did 66 strikes the one before last for that ghost shell and that didn't drop so I gave up on that one.. The DFA last week was admittedly broken as bungie said but I already got that one after 71 runs in.. Looks like my RNG favours the longer side than the shorter one.. Congrats to those who manage to get these weapons in short times like run 6 or 8 runs etc and to those that are really unlucky like me well I guess it's tough luck.. Sucks donkey balls but your RNG blows! Still on the plus side I now have over 600 faction tokens despite already reaching rank 50 and have over 300 vanguard tokens despite being rank 70 already. I'm not doing anymore strikes wasting my time and I still don't have any catalysts drop either.. Oh well. Good luck to you mate!
