If i buy one now but don't finish it when the new season starts will i lose the pass?

Yes battle pass only lasts one season.... Buying S4 battle pass at this stage is impossible to complete unless you buy tiers

If the new season starts you can’t finish the last one

When the new season starts, a new battle pass is released for purchase. You start from tier 1, unless you guy the starter pack. When old battle pass is gone, you will keep what you’ve earned.
