After getting over the OMG factor of the forsaken vidoc, I was looking back over it and saw a brief second of the Dawnblade being thrust in to the ground (unlike the animation for Phoenix dive).
I love the Dawnblade and am very interested to see what this does any ideas?

1 ReplyIt creates a massive healing rift that stacks your health above max.

So I’ve looked over different videos of warlock gameplay coming from E3 second by second (and just to clarify none of this is confirmed as no one at E3 was able to in spect skill trees) and have come to the following con conclusion: • Super ability Well of Light. Upon activation you plunge the Dawnblade in to the ground causing explosive damage knocking enemies back, you will then spawn a giant rift for you and you allies which provides properties of healing and empowering rift at a increased number ( I imagine the exact number is being tested). You and allies will also receive increased ability energy recharge. • Grenade ability Candescent Grace This ability allows the warlock to hold down the grenade button (like devour) to change the Grenade from one that damages to one that heals and provides an over shield for you and your allies. There are some visual changes to the grenade and it appears as so you can throw it at the ground to be picked up or throw it directly at an allies to apply the buff. • Melee ability Empower This one is hard to deuterium the effect, when you kill a enemy with this melee ability the warlock gets a buff called Empower for three seconds there is a visual effect on screed but what is does is up for speculation. • Ability Hearthkeeper Another one hard to determine from the footage I’ve seen but I’ve heard that it’s a buff that extends the super duration based on how many people are in the well of light. If any one has seen any thing I did not it would be cool to know 😁. This video is probably the best at showing off the ability’s https://youtu.be/T5oss3Wd1yE

The most interesting rumour I've heard is that it's grenade's can heal your allies.

They posted a new video on Facebook the other day. Radiant light covers him and his teammates from the sky.

Looks like some kind of massive rift coming from the blade

6 RepliesNot to be that guy, but that's just the Dawnblade Pheonix dive and a Titan popping a bubble.
-
2 RepliesI want Radiance back, thats it. Bring it to me Bungie.
-
3 RepliesMaybe, once you thrust it into the ground, it creates a bubble with some sort of buff, and then you can run around with your dawn blade like an actual sword instead of throwing it.
-
5 RepliesLooks like planting the sword in the ground will spawn an orb that buffs nearby allies.

Edited by HiddenAlignment: 6/9/2018 3:54:55 PMMy speculation is that the Dawnblade plants the sword into the ground that creates a rift that instantly revives anyone who dies in it. Probably not right, though.

4 RepliesIt’s some type of bubble. Might be a weapons of light bubble or blessing of light bubble
