Cayde 6's death in Forsaken ( read very important. Needs to be addressed before the release of Warmind. )
[spoiler][/spoiler] If you don't know already, there has been leaked audio files that were datamined that tell us that Cayde 6 will die. Now I am a little bit obsessed with Cayde 6. I even did a school project on Cayde once. Cayde 6 is my favorite video game character of ALL TIME. After hearing to this audio file *Don't judge me* I actually fraging cried. As soon as I found out what a major role took in this DLC, I immediately knew that Cayde 6 WILL die in this DLC. Cayde 6 was in most trailers and is the most popular, beloved, funny, interesting, iconic, and badass character in the Destiny history. Bungie, just don't do this. You can't kill Cayde off simply for shock. Cayde HAS to live on as a exo and be in every Destiny game ever. Cayde is incredible. Bungie, idc if he could be rebooted, WE NEED CAYDE-6! The least that you could do is to give us a choice to save him or not. like choosing either him or Zavala to live on. Bungie, plz DO NOT kill Cayde-6. I was actually nervous while doing the campaign when he said that his arm was cut off.

I have one question. Who would you rather die Cayde or Zavala? now to also say if Zavala died people wouldn't care as much, pretty much everyone liked Cayde his death is unfortunate but necessary to get us to hate the villain, I'd say mission accomplished going down the darker path could save or destroy destiny 2, but this change needs to happen destiny 2 can't carry on as it has if Cayde lives, the story will probably suffer if I had to choose between Cayde or a better story, I'd choose the story.

Some kids poll isn't going to make the devs rush back to change the entire story of the new expansion. Cayde can die. He isnt untouchable. None of the NPCs in this story play any huge role that makes it impossible to kill them off. In fact id say Destinys story NEEDS this. We need more emotion in the game. We need more brutality. We need some real deaths. Due to Ghosts we havent really lost anybody that we have a real emotional connection with

Cayde-6 will totally die. Only to be rebooted and revived as Cayde-7.

Like others stated its unlikely he'll be killed off (he's a vendor, he's a major character, he's a beloved character, etc). At most he'll just be reset.
