I don't like the renown system anymore...
>Get x5 Renown
>Do a lost sector
>Tether the boss and go ham on him with a shotty
>Boss does a void explosion which connects to the enemy supply cache which blows you up in the process bringing you down to 4 renown

It's a pain in the butt during escalation protocol. Finish the public event wave and wow you're dropping like flies until it goes!
