terrible faction rally RNG
I have done a ton of stuff on all 3 characters but my Warlock is the FWC toon, I have opened 35 boxes and recieved numerous chests, bonds, sniper rifles, and secondary handcannons, I even got the sparrow, but not a SINGLE helmet!
why don't these work like the EP ones where you guaranteed armor piece until you have them all?
especially since SO much "faction" stuff is LOCKED behind having a FULL SET

I only pledged to DO for the catalyst, hit 999 on Friday, i got every single piece of armor and I think weapons too, kept the weapons in case they turn out to be good, but dismantled all armor since i prefer NM

3 RepliesI really feel bad for people who go into this week without a full set of faction armor on at least one toon (thankfully I'm covered). I hit rank 50 in Dead Orbit, and armor drops were few and far between.

I guess I am the lucky one in this game. My warlock had the full set from previous season. I got titan and hunter sets within 40 engrams.

2 RepliesIt’s actually a bug that caused us not to be able to purchase armor this faction rally. It’s being adjusted for the next one.

2 RepliesI’m rank 22 in new monarchy. Of all the packages I got, only armor pieces is the cloak and chest piece. I might be rank 50 before I get the full set.

rank 83 with dead orbit and still no chest piece. I like grinding but this is ridiculous. I wont have time to unlock the ornaments that require a full set.

1 ReplyI had all gear by rank 16 I'm now rank 30 just trying to get the ornaments.. what I did was turned them in around 100 tokens at a time, I didnt stack them all maybe that has something to do with it...

Took me 47 before I finally got a chest piece to drop to complete my set.

3 RepliesIt's also a three month event. This right here is the problem with most Destiny players. They want a grind. They don't want everything handed to everyone so that no one feels special. Then they complain that they've opened XX number of boxes in the first couple of days of the first Factuon Rally and haven't unlocked everything.

Are you really sure you don't already have it? At Rank 13, I have each piece for the one character I've had time to play, and did not get any duplicates in the process.

5 RepliesIf it’s your first time pledging, the RNG is coded in a way so that you don’t get all the armor in the first week. That way you have to pledge a second time and you will finally get your missing piece. This was fine in season 2 but that does suck for season 3 because you can only pledge one faction a week which means you will ultimately miss out on some armor pieces.

2 Replies29 packs for FWC, just need to reach 50 and then done, have unlocked all the ornaments. The golden gun Vex kills went easier when I went to Nessus. Had all the gear before the rally began.

I guess RNG took pity on me. I'm rank 72 with NM, took about 15 levels for each character to get full armor sets. The only thing that sucks is I don't have a sweet business to get the catalyst, mmmm oh well never used the weapon.
