Nascent Dawn 5/5 Disappointing
I have been playing Desting since it first came out and have vowed to help other Guardians and have never done Crucible.
I am sickened that the last step of Nascent Dawn says complete 3 x PvP.
Is there any other way to complete the step as i DO NOT DO CRUCIBLE ?

Do mayhem, you don't need to equip this weapon. With Mayhem everyone use grenades and supers all the time, and is a great way to do weeklies since it is just pure mindless fun.

1 ReplyThis was the easy part. Wait till you get to kill 50 with perfect fifth. Not with the explosive damage. Kills must be by the burn. Stupidest, lamest, grindiest, annoyingest, longest pita of all the nascent steps.

6 RepliesY'all smart asses miss the point. It's not "hard" as you think. It's "the game mode I absolutely hate and do not touch on principle". PVP is cancer, especially in this game. No wonder some people want to stay as far away from it as possible.

I didn’t mind it cause it got me my weekly milestone and finished my quest. I love when I can kill two birds with one stone! I’m not a huge fan of pvp, I just do enough to get my weekly milestone but three rumble matches which combined will take 15 mins doesn’t really seem like something to complain about. It’s not like that d1 exotic quest where you needed 100 kills and when you die it minuses them. That was harsh! Three matches where it doesn’t matter how you do or even if you get kills seems like a pretty easy quest step.

I hate crucible too . I finished on top 2 out of the 3 games - doesn’t change the fact I -blam!-ing hated it and shouldn’t be forced to play it

Wonder if custom games counts mow, hmmm??? Might have to test this out unless its been debunked already because technically Custom games [i]is[/i] Crucible, and it is PvP. Anyone know?

Dood. I LOATHE pvp. But you just need complete the 3 matches, not win 3. Just into quick play and run at the opposing team or screw around or ya know give it half hearted try.

Edited by iiiiKIZERiiii: 6/7/2018 6:26:28 PMTook me 30 minutes top's. Won 2 matches and lost 1. I used whatever weapons I had handy too. By the way there is more to do after Crucible in the quest line. =) Doing Escalation Protocal so many times was in my opinion more annoying.
